Paradise...Seriously.
The location is so beautiful words cannot even begin to explain. The best part of it all is that you have your own private villa, with covered porch and lounge chairs, with a comfortable room that is just literally steps away from a private beach. Those steps are taken through beautiful, lush tropical gardens with orchids, palms, and blooming trees that drop thier tropical ferrie dust flowers at your feet winding you through your short path to sea shore. Grab a lounge chair, take a swim in the bay or the pool, have a cocktail, or a massage right there and soak up some serious R & R. I sent pictues to my friend back home and they replied. "Are you in a Corona comerical." Tropical Paridise. What more can I say. If you are used big city high end amenitites, this place may not be for you. It's all about the beach and being outside. So your villa is cozy and comfortable, but yes it could use some paint here and there and a good grout scrubbing. So don't expect pristine accomidations. Great lamps and furniture in the room, comfy beeds, nice linens but needs a little detailing.

Shopping tips:
Short drive from hotel
This is strictly a resort. So there is really no shopping or nightlife in walking distance. Lots of people rent motor bikes but I wouldn't want to drive on that island. People drive CRAZY. So the hotel will shuttle you to Chaweng for shopping and dinner. It is a very touristy part of the island but fun for a change of sceenery. You won't get deals like you would in Bangkok at the markets but you can talk price.
