The Westin Siray Bay Resort and Spa Phuket

Very nice hotel and staff, excellent breakfast (though fruit was not good which is very surprising for Thailand), good pools, view slightly obscured by many trees, beach not great and as result didn't really use/see anyone using it, location poor and nothing within walking distance, no nice walking to be had around the hotel. For the price, it was good though this was through a off peak holiday package. If paying any more than the we had to, would perhaps not be as happy. Taxis also seem on a par with western countries - perhaps they assume anyone staying at the Westin has a lot of money, not the case!

Italian (Prego Restaurant) food is very tasty. Beyond my expectation. Perfect location for relaxing. Surrounding with nice arroma landscaping plants (pandan leaf).

Hotel is about 45 mins from Patong (the 'happening' place) so little far out for young adults, also hotel bars shut before midnight. Definitely worth paying the extra for room with plunge pool, corner one is better as have sunbeds. Aircon in room never worked properly & had to ask for more shampoo etc everyday as only given one which is not enough for two adults & sometimes forgot to give at all. Would have been nice for towels for sunbeds in room to have been provided which would have saved us having to take up from pool. Plenty of bottled water was provided complimentary in rooms which was appreciated. Bad dinner at Prego's (Italian restaurant) was not handled well - my food was uncooked & after a spell in the microwave having sent it back was still uncooked so ended up not eating - gave hotel constructive feedback on this via its comment sheet they gave to us but despite being there for 10 days never heard anything back. Ate there again on our last night and meal was better but due to power cut (not hotel's fault) spent most of our dinner in darkness! Staff in hotel were very friendly and helpful particularly in the bars & the lady in charge of breakfast. We had a great 10 days at the Westin (we have stayed at many hotels in Phuket in the past 20 years) though had we had our 20+ year old children with us perhaps it would not have been the right place, without them though we would definitely go back. Didn't see young children facility but heard there was a kids club and the pools etc looked good for them.

From the service to the staff to the food and especially the views this was an extraordinary hotel with exceptional comfort and beauty.

Excellent hotel. Despite not being close to Kata, Kalong and Patong beaches, which are in busy, touristy towns, we were glad to stay at The Westin, away from all the noise and bustle. During the day we enjoyed the resort and went to Phi Phi in a speedboat. During the evenings had very good meals in Phuket town. Meals at the hotel were tops--amazing breakfast buffet, very good Italian restaurant. Ample, light filled rooms (plenty of space for a rollaway bed) with balconies. Big bathrooms.

We arrived extremely late at night, but the staff were ready and prompt in signing us in and bringing us complimentary wet cloths and drinks while we registered. We had one of the rooms with a small pool off the balcony and it was worth the extra money. My 5 yr old loved it, as it is only 2 to 3 feet high. The room was spectacular as was the entire hotel with pools, restaurants, and entertainment to choose from. The workout facilities and kid zone were perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer and recommend this resort without question. The language barrier had it's challenges a couple times, but how much can one ask of others when you're in a different country?

The hotel staff are frendly, but with no much helpfull whenasked for referrals such restaurants and things to do outside the facilities. The restaurants are expensive and marginal to say the least.Besides the view the hotel do not offer u anything else. I would not stay there again

Nice Resort with nice staff, Just don't like everytime go to lobby to get back to room need to take the tuk tuk provided. Nice bathroom and the room was nice too.

Great hotel and resort. Superb ocean view from room and great resort environment. I really love "heavenly bed". Staffs are strongly service-minded and always being great help.
