It is within an easy reach just 5 minutes walking to the exotic shopper's paradise, "Night Bazaar", where you'll find many Thai handicrafts and souvenirs. The hotel is also close to the remains of the city walls and the glorious temples dating to the 14th century. The Mae Ping River flows quietly through the center. 年末の１２月３１日に宿泊したのですが、チェックインの際に３１日に宿泊させる人は必ず、パーティーに参加することになっていますと言われ、強制的に参加料を請求されました。そうした内容を事前に知らせておいてほしかったです。その他のホテルの対応は良好でした。ただ､内装の施設がかなり古く、同じランクのホテルでももっときれいなホテルがチェンマイ市内でもある気がします。ナイトバザールには近く便利でした。

Good location difficult management
Forced to pay extra meals when checking in. Made reservation three weeks prior to arrival, and two days prior to arrival received email from [...]stated that a $100 USD per person charge would be added to the bill for New Years Eve Gala. No notice from hotel was given at the time booking. Spend a lot of time and money trying to call hotel from Cambodia prior to arrival. If I canceled, penalties would be applied

Local area has many good restaurants. Avoid the buffet except for breakfast which is included in room charge. Contact hotel directly regarding any extra charges that will be applied once you arrive

Easy but not luxurious
The hotel is well-located and since it is large, all taxi and tuk-tuk drivers know exactly where it is. However, it can be a bit noisy and when the hotel gets busy the elevator can take a couple minutes. No free wi-fi.

The Imperial Mae Ping is in a
The Imperial Mae Ping is in a great place, close to the old city and 1 minute walk to the famous Night Market. The hotel has cheap laundromats just outside the entrance and great restaurants and bars outside too. A Muay Thai arena is just next door which has fights 3 or 4 days a week. There is a great motorcycle hire place on the street outside the hotel with cheap, new and good auto and manual scooters and bikes, and great service. Close enough to the awesome Saturday night markets and a 10 minute walk to the start of the massive Sunday night market and old town. We enjoyed staying at this hotel and in Chiang Mai as well.

We had a very pleasant and peaceful stay here. Strategic location. Friendly and helpful staff. Except for the operator whom should be more polite when speaking or attending to guests enquiries.

First night we got a room with
First night we got a room with a door to a neighboring room. The door's have no sound insulation - we could hear everything .. up to 3 am :(. Next day wo got an other room only with main door. Wifi is expensive 1 h = 150 Baht. So I used GPRS/EDGE from prepaid Happy SIM 50h=199B. Breakfast was very good!

My Rm upgraded to deluxe rm & offer free bfast upon arrival- pleasant surprise. Swimming pools r superb, jacuzzi & open pool on lvl 1 & pvt pool beside Spa on lvl 2. No Sauna is a pity. Gym is small bt equipped & maintained. Spa on lvl 2 is exp. At lvl 1, pedicure, manicure, facial, salon & massage at gd price. Ask for Ms Muey, who did a fantastic job on my friends' nails. Massage called to your rm upon request. Bfast at hotel is a good spread of american & local delicacies.I opt to hv mine beside pool & service staff facilitate. Awesome Shabu2 dinner in hotel at ur convenience but there better one in Pandi plaza just 5min walk fm hotel Lan cable in rm, internet stn wif printing in cafe. Exp at 250baht/ 30min. Across rd in front of htl, internet svc at only 10 baht/30min Security is good. 5min walk fm night bazaar. Shuttle bus every hr to AP at 120 baht - more comfy than toktok. Great svc. great exp & will stay at Mae Ping again in CM.
