The Chedi Chiang Mai

This is just a fantastic 5 stars hotel, one of the best I have stayed at. This beautiful hotel is the kind of hotel where you want to stay for 7 days and never come out so that u can enjoy it as much as you can. I highly recommend anyone to stay there. Also the hotel location is great.

Very good location. Classic old colonial hotel style. Located on the river. Impressive open-air lobby. Very nice and attentive hotel staff.

Simply put, we didn't want to leave. GREAT service and staff, beautiful grounds and perfect location. Incredible value too. Quiet, yet close to the action. We hope to return again soon!

Nice hotel in a lovely position by the river. The level of service was a bit variable. Drinks and food were also very expensive compared to other similar hotels we have stayed at in Thailand. If you are looking for somewhere a cheaper to eat, we recommend Moxies at the Dusit D2 (similar menu to chedi at half the price - the yellow fish curry is brilliant) or Khao Soy just down the street.

All staffs in chedi are very friendly and polite. my family very enjoy our stay in chedi.nice swim pool and lounge.

This was our third and our daughter's 12th trip to Thailand. After 4 nights at Pathumwan Princess in Bangkok it was on to Chiang Mai via train (an adventure we would thoroughly recommended.We then enjoyed 4 nights at the fabulous Chedi. We opted for a Club room for three adults. This room includes pick-up/return to station or airport, personal check-in at the upstairs club lounge. Then there is all day access to club lounge for complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits, cocktails and canapes from 6 - 8 pm every evening. A mini bar, daily fruit bowl and laundry of 7 items per day is included in the tariff. amenities include a great pool and restaurant. Two minutes from the to night bazaar, a must do! (All help make the club room very good value).The staff are beyond brilliant and were always willing to assist with grace, patience and kindness. Manager [...] a very friendly Frenchman with the biggest smile and obviously loved by all staff. The great skills of Aussie Chef [...] all helped to make our stay memorable, and we left feeling we had left some of our heart in Chiang Mai. We will be back!!

Chedi Chiang Mai is a great value. We stayed 3 nights during the first week in April and loved it. It was our favorite hotel that we stayed at in Thailand (In Bangkok we were at Lebua & Ritz Carlton's Phulay Bay in Krabi) Looking back we wish we spent more time here. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is the best we had during our 2 wks vacation and the grounds of the hotel are suitable for the princess (she was actually checking in when we left). The only problem we had was during our first night it rained and the frogs were mating (i know this sounds insane BUT it was sooo loud and my husband and I thought we were going crazy when we were woken at 1:00AM and couldnt go back to sleep for 3 hours). We were in a room by the river and this is apparently a problem during rainy season, but the next morning the hotel manager moved our room and upgraded us to a Chedi Club Suite. If you can stay in the the upgraded room, I highly recommend it. Much nicer rooms. Definitely request a non frog room if you are travelling during rain season & bring earplugs just in case! Other than the above problem (and mosquitoes are also a problem there so make sure to open and close door quickly) we had a great stay. If money is not an issue check out Mandarin Oriental CM. We had dinner there and wished we had spent a few nights there as well.

The Chedi was an eden in the middle of the city! The hotel and grounds are stunning and peaceful. From the moment you arrive you are well taken care of by all of the staff. Many areas to lounge around, relax and enjoy the setting. Modern meets east is the best way to describe this hotel. Only minutes from night market too! Hotel serves great food throughout the day to suit all tastes. Spa was blissful end of story. Every opportunity to do 'touristy' things, but somehow it did not seem right to patronize places that have tigers you can pet, or monkeys on tricycles. So instead we simply enjoyed the hotel. My only down comment (which is not hotels doing) is the incessant fireworks that seemed to go from dusk until dawn every night..... Highly recommended for families, couples and solo travellers who want a 5 star experience!

宿泊は6回目くらいですが、今回初めてクラブスイートに宿泊しました。部屋は広いし、いろいろサービスがあって、とても満足しました。 ナイトバザールに近い立地、アウトドアでのおいしい朝食、このホテルに宿泊するのもチェンマイへ行く目的のひとつです。
