located 5 min walk from sukomvith great location got a room on the first floor. they said its a renovated room but it did not seem so to me. room is ok nothing special , bed very comfortable, breakfast was good. i think adding a little more $$$ can get a better deal in the area. will i stay again there not really sure , nothing against it or for it

its nice hotel gud for family stay.

Split into two areas, there are the newer and nicer decorated rooms and the older but still comfortable rooms in the main building. Good facilities and an easy walk to BTS & other transport. An ok choice for Sukhumvit Rd area.

The hotel lost our original reservation, downgraded our rooms and then upgraded us to less than our reservation to make us feel better...huh? Asked if we wanted to stay in the smoke infused penthouse..we refused. Given rooms in smoking and non-smoking floors after 30-45 minutes of discussion about it. Attempted to make up for mistakes, lies, and downgrades with a complimentary 10 minute van ride to the MRT station 3 kilometers away...Last time at this location for us. Much better available for a lower price and more consitent services. Breakfast was O.k. with little selection. Rooms are spread between 3 buildings, and you are not told of this until checkin. Over the past 12 years I have spent 50-60 stays in BKK from 1 day to 4 weeks in length.

The only problem we faced was that we booked the 2 double beds but they apparently only have rooms with 1 king or 2 twin beds in the entire hotel. This was a big problem for us since there were three of us traveling. They wanted to charge us 1,000B for an extra bed (like 35 USD) but we got it down to 800. Would probably not stay here again since twin beds are not very comfortable. But they need to fix this misconception on the [...] site.

The hotel is clean, comfortable with the basic amenities. It's located on a side street which makes it quiet, but about a 3 block walk to the main road. The hotel does offer a free Tuk Tuk (Shuttle) whenever you need it, which is a great help. Wish I would have known about this service sooner, as I spent a lot of time walking that long side street. Once you get to the main road, the location is great. Very near the Sky Train, which is the best way to move around Bangkok, or the underground subway, as well as to several restaurants and shops.

Royal President Bangkok is a good hotel, and a great spot to take a break from a busy travel schedule. We spent 2 quiet nights there, and enjoyed first-rate service from all the staff, from check-in to check-out. The location is convenient, and the room very comfortable. The bathroom fixtures and molding need to be updated. Having a mini kitchen was very helpful. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

Room photos were not even close to what i recieved. Elevator did not always work. Many lights in room not working. TV had poor picture. I had Jr. suite and have had many standard rooms better than this suite. Staff was great, food was great, location was good but room needs work.
