Hotel De'Moc

The staff were pleasant but could e any edecisions on their own, and management was not helpful.

It was my first time in Thailand. The hotel was perfectly located for all the tourist attractions in central Bangkok. I do recommend you to stay at this location if you don't want to spend too much money and required good hotel service!!!

The first room I was given at Hotel de Moc smelled like an ashtray, even though the hotel claims to be non-smoking, and I asked to be moved elsewhere. The room I was given instead smelled like paint and was very loud as it was right next to the highway, but I stayed in it as there was nothing else available. The noise seemed worse at night and kept me awake, so in the morning I requested to be moved again (it's actually very unlike me to complain) and was put in a third room, which was the nicest of the three. It was still loud, but at least I was able to sleep. In both rooms, the beds were on rollers and moved whenever I tried to sit on them to watch tv, which was also inconvenient. The pool, however, was lovely.

Retro design hotel. friendly staff , good service! Walkable to Kaosan Road and not far from Grand Palace. Free shuttle TukTuk to Kaosan Road. I think this hotel could be a best hotel around this area. Taxi to Kaosan Road < 40 Baht, to Grand Palace < 50 Baht.

Hotel De'Moc is situated very close to all the happenings of old Bangkok, including the grand palace, the Chao Praya and Khao San Road. A homely hotel, it could be referred to as a little old looking but this is half the charm. A haven after a night at Khao San, it should cost only 30 baht to Khao San although many tuk tuks will offer 100 - 50 baht. Nice pool, good free wireless internet, cool bell boys and staff, yummy breakfast and in low season, good value at 1400 baht. about 350-400 baht meter taxi including tolls from the Airport. Overall a good place to stay away from the hussle and bussle of Khao San and Pratunam. Be ready for the tuk tuks offering 50 baht or free trips for a couple of hours.... they will want to take you to a ""TAT" office or to a sliver shop to get themsleves 5 litres of free gasoline.... just say no... it is a 10 minute walk to Khao San... if you don't get lost

The hotel de moc was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. The hotel is a solid 3 star facility offering a few nice touches complimentry bathrobes in the the rooms and a combination western asian buffet breakfast included included in the daily rate. The staff were courteous and helpfull. The biggest plus the hotel offers its proximity to the old city

從飯店步行至考山路約10分鐘，座計程車至各大景點都滿近的約50~60泰幣，交通上還滿方便的!飯店品質不錯!值得推薦~

Very nice hotel within walking distance of Khaosan road.

Good for this price. I would return there. The swimming pool was not very clean.
