BEST WESTERN PREMIER Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport

This hotel is perfect for an over-night stay when traveling in and out of the airport but is far from other Bangkok tourist destinations.

The hotel is a short cab ride from the airport. Convenient access to main business and shopping centers of Bangkok. Terrific impression upon entering the spacious and high ceiling lobby. Doormen, receptionists and staff in general very pleasant. Room pretty large to acomodate a couple with 4 suitcases and other luggage. Excellent shower.

Good property for the value, attractive interior and helpful staff. Be advised, it is about a 15 minute shuttle bus ride from the new international airport. The front desk staff advised us that we needed to be at the airport 3 hours in advance of departure, which was excessive. We were up at 3am for a 4am shuttle and ended up waiting at the airport for well over an hour. The normal 2 hour airport time would've been sufficient. Hair dryer quits when you use it on high (heating element,) so use the low setting and you're fine. Comfy beds. Good value.

A great place to stay if you need to be near the airport. Delicious food in the restaurant. Beautiful swimming pool. Prompt service to and from the airport. Beautiful art display of stones and crystals in the lobby. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. I really liked my twostays here on arrival and departure. Staff speaks English.

I stayed for two nights to get over my jet lag before I had to move to a more expensive hotel for a conference. The airport pick up was fast. I waited only 10 minutes. The room was absolutely clean, quiet, and modern. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. I swam in the pool, had a massage, and used the fitness room. Everything was great. I would definitely stay again if I needed an airport hotel.

We were overnighting in Bangkok and needed accommodation. The Best Western Amaranth was easy. We picked up the shuttle at the airport, had a good Thai meal in the restaurant, a comfortably large room, and an early morning shuttle back to the airport. I was a little bit surprised that it was a good 20 minutes from the airport, but didn't see anything closer. Would go back.

A simple transit hotel was what we were looking for and the Best Western Premier Amaranth fit that bill. Due to its location close to the airport, going from and to the airport, with the hotel's free shuttle was a worry free transit! The room was better than expected and the amenities the hotel provided was perfect! But do keep in mind that since you are staying a bit far from downtown and any other things to do, you will need to know how to spend your time while waiting for that next meal or even for bed!

We stayed at this hotel in between flights to Bangkok and then to Phuket. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes by car from the airport and has a free shuttle (which you must prearrange by email). This worked out great for us. The rooms are great and the breakfast was top-notch. The staff was very nice as well. They did not have a room at our rate with a single bed (due to extra bookings because of the floods in Bangkok) so we got a free upgrade. This hotel is highly recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now while in transit from Phuket to my international flight back to LAX via NRT(Tokyo), and can say nothing but good things. The staff is friendly and excellent. The rooms are perfect, and the price is around $70 USD. This hotel is perfect to crash between layovers, and get to BKK in about 10 mins on the airport shuttle.
