My forth visit to the Ascott in two years resident manager Jason knows all about this constant problem, unfortunately, will not be staying again, I have complained in 4 occasions that their TV reception is poor, and needs upgrading with signal boosters on each floor. this same problem occurs at two other Ascott properties in Bangkok Somerset Suanplu Lake point the regional manager Valter informed but has done nothing to date especially for Somerset Suanplu where the problem has existed for 5 years

My wife and I chose Bangkok as the location of our working vacation because we knew we could peacefully concentrate at the Ascott Bangkok Sathorn. This was our second stay here. We chose to come back and enjoy the excellent gym, the spacious apartment rooms with kitchen facilities, and the very social poolside. We found that the Ascott Bangkok Sathorn had maintained their form since 2009. Access to the Cascade Club gym and the well appointed rooms remain the strongest draw. We used the gym every morning. It's an outstanding illuminated space with huge windows overlooking the city. All of the equipment is first rate, and the locker rooms are incredibly plush. We had a premier king apartment advertised as 97 sq m, but this was perhaps too much space for our needs. The kitchen was as big as that in our Singapore apartment, and we only cooked a couple of meals here. I enjoyed having a separate bedroom with a very comfortable king-sized bed and ample closet space. More importantly, we had lots of table and desk space to spread out and study, write, and work. The free wi-fi service was helpful, too. I should also note that the hotel has improved their breakfast service since our last visit in November 2009. The omelet station is a great touch. We will definitely stay at the Ascott Bangkok Sathorn again if we return to the city. The Ascott here has become our bolthole in Thailand.

Good overall service, very pleasant staff. My hotel room came with a washer but no dryer which doesn't make a lot of sense, but other than that, it was a good overall experience. The major problem with the location is that Sathorn Road is very busy at rush hour so getting to the old city or to sukhumvit takes a long time by taxi. The sky train is 5 minutes away but you have to change lines to get to many locations.

first time staying at Ascott. Lots of space good for family. Location a bit away from shopping and restaurants.

２ベッドルームに３日間宿泊しました。総じてキレイないいホテル（本当はレジデンス？）だと思うのですが、気になった点をいくつか。３世代での旅行だったので選んでみましたが、次は普通のホテルに２部屋取るかな。。 ・事前リクエストしていたベビーコットが無かった。 ・リビングルームのエアコンが壊れているようなのでチェックしてもらったところ、修理に３時間から４時間かかりますとのこと。修理の為にベッドルームの片側を占拠し、窓を開け放ち、エンジニアが何回も出入り。我々は暑いリビングルームで待たされることになり した。（ベッドルームが占拠されているので出かけるための着替えもできない） ・このことに関してホテル側からは何のお詫びも無し。 ・夜１０時にマッサージに行きたくなったのでコンシェルジェに近くの店を尋ねたところ、「ここあたりは早く閉まります」じゃあ他の地域でお勧めの店は？「今開いているかどうか私には分かりません、部屋に１時間６５０バーツで呼べますよ」との回答。自分でネットで調べてみたら、２時まであいているところがいくつもあった。 ・部屋のクッションカバーが気に入ったので、同じようなものが欲しいとコンシェルジェに尋ねてみたところ、「どこで買ったのか不明です、タイシルクかどうかも不明です、ジムトンプソンに行けばクッションカバーはいっぱいあります、アウトレットの店を教えます」との回答。 コンシェルジェの笑顔の素敵なお兄さんは、きっと悪気はないのだろうと思うのだけど、正直、これで５星か？と思った。 ・友人からあると聞いていた「シャトルサービス」「歓迎のお菓子」が無かった。コストダウンか？別に大したことではないが、ちょっとがっかりしたのは事実。

Great value for money. Quiet hotel good for working. Nice pool and good italian restaurant. The 75 m2 apartment I enjoyed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lousy and I only tried it once.

利便性の高い場所にあり、こじんまりとした良いホテルです。 設備も整っており従業員のホスピタリティもいいです。 朝食付きでしたがこの内容だけはいただけません。
