Ambassador Hotel Bangkok

The hotel amenities, including a pool, various restaurants, cafes, and a gym, are all there, but the quality is average at best. The buffet breakfast is decidedly subpar, in terms of variety and quality of the food. They really need to do something about upgrading the food and the equipment in the gym, which probably date back to the 80's. The room amenites are also less than stellar. Only rooms in the new Tower wing about a certain floor have a tub. The TV lineup is terrible, compared to even a 3-star hotel in Siem Riep, Cambodia. The overall impression is one of dinginess, but the room prices are in line with that. Also, the location of the hotel, i.e., very close to the Sky Train, the taior shops, and the bustling bar scene (if you're into that kind of thing), is the best thing about it.

Whenever I go to BKK I always stay at the Ambassador Hotel. The #1 reason being that it's within a few minutes (literally) from the BTS Skytrain station. I've stayed at the Manhattan Hotel, but the Ambassador is closer to the Skytrain station and the breakfast buffet is better and larger.

we were booked in standerd double room, but upgraded to delux room for 1000 bht per night, it was well worth it, a very nice room on 24th floor, good location for shopping, and sky train, very lively area at night with a lot going on.

when i did agree to this hotel through your company i was told that there was internet service for free , when i was ready to leave i was told that i need to pay 100.00 dollars for the internet service and any problem it has to be resolve through your company ,or look for any legal advice against your company for miss leading or wrong information to costumers

It is advisable to stay in the Tower Wing of the hotel, which is nicely done, spacious and neat. The hotel is excellently located, right in the center of all attractions and connected well through the LRT.

zum 4. mal in diesem hotel. fuehle mich wohl, ist aber ein riesiges touristenhotel. beim fruehstueck kein plat^z. vertichte deshalb meistens auf fruehstueck.

立地は駅の徒歩圏内ですばらしい。 トリプル２部屋で予約したにもかかわらず ツインとダブルの部屋だったため　部屋を変えてくれと言ったら 追加料金がかかると言われた。 サービスが悪い。 歯ブラシ　ドライヤーが設備されていなかった。 安いので　まあ　しょうがないかというかんじです

①ロケーションは悪くない、火事の後、客が減ったような感じ。通りからは入れなくなった。 ②無料インターネットが増える中、有料ではサービスが足りない感じ。 ③スクンビットは偶数側の小さいホテルの方がサービスが良い。 今回は予約が遅れて取れなかったから仕方が無い。 ④通りは日本人だらけで次回は唐人街辺りか、趣向を変えたい。但しアジアホテルはお化けが出るので行きたくない。 ⑤ここは、総じて平凡だが、決してはずれということでは無い。

Stayed only one night. The hotel is good located and close to Sukhumvit's nightlife. However, couldn't really enjoy as there was some unexpected maintenance work starting 7am in the morning. Normally I would say the price for the standard room is quite ok but if you can't sleep because of maintenance work, the hotel should inform and the price should be more attractive as well! However, if you want to get a cheap room within 5min walking distance from the inhouse Climax club, go for it!

Hotel room was slightly dated but very clean. Breakfast buffet had a decent selection of Asian, Indian, American, Vegetarian cuisine. Location was near to Nana BTS station so we were able to get around without depending on taxi and tuktuk. I would stay again.
