Adelphi Grande Bangkok

great service,all the staffs are polite and friendly. very clean and comfortable room. only 10 mins to BTS Phrom Phong station and Emporium. TOPS supermarket near by. and the area is safe although its quite dark at night. but once u going out at night,front desk will call the taxi for u immediately. breakfast is also good. highly recommend :) definitely will choose this hotel for my next bkk trip.

We have stayed 4 nights at this new truely 4 star hotel. Its location Sukhumvit Soi 41 is a quiet cul-de-sac off the main road Sukhumvit. The hotel is in a very good neighbourhood close to many embassies. If you keep your balcony door open at night, you can wake up with the bird song in the morning.

Very nice. Apartment type hotel. Has great king size beds, your own Euro Style washer dryer. Nice tub & shower bath conbination; good & friendly restaurant; located off Sumhumvit, near Emporium mall and Phrom Phom BTS train. Use airport express bus to Phrom Phom BTS station. Walk to Soi 41,at the TOPS market to get to the hotel. Excellent Wireless in room and free computers in lobby.

The Adelphi was full of helpful staff and the views from the floor to ceiling windows were an eyeful of Bangkok skyline. The breakfasts went on for days and the rooms were elegant and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed a few days longer. The location was a bit out there, but once we learned to navigate the subway, we never thought about it again. We will definitely return to the Adelphi Grande.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is a little further out (East) of Bankok center than usual but is only a few minutes walk from a Skytrain station and we got around the city very easily. It is in a very quiet side-street, about 100meters from the main road - the street is not well lighted but we had no problems. The staff were fantasic, nothing was too much trouble and they arranged trips, tickets etc for us without problems. The service at breakfast was second to none. The room was spotlessly clean, well equiped and a good size. The small kitchen/dining area perfectly adequate for snacks though we were out to eat out most meals. Many small and cheap restaurants in the area. Definately recommend if you want to avoid the crowds and hastle in the city centre but get easily to anywhere of interest.

I would (and already have) recommend the Adelphi Grande to anyone traveling to or through Bangkok. The location is central, yet quiet; the staff were exceptional, and my room was large and beautifully furnished. It rained during my stay, so I did not get to use the pool, although it looked inviting. I traded that off for a 2 hour Thai massage, which the staff arranged for me in my room. I would definitely stay again!

Thailand is so beautiful! We went in September for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. In Bangkok, Stay at the Banyan Tree hotel. They were so great. They put rose pedals all over our room & bed. Great Service & Amenities. Get the a yummy frozen drink with dry ice smoking from it on the top floor of the hotel and also get a fantastic view of the city at night. Eat dinner at the thai restaurant inside the hotel too on the 52 floor - it was truly excellent. Take the Canal tour on a long boat through the city. Visit the red light district too! Visit the red light district i said! On Phuket, stay at the Amari hotel. Great massages & great location. Phi Phi island was amazing - and you should go there!!! (2 hour boat ride from Phuket) Stay at Zeavola hotel. The most beautiful & relaxing spot! I was swimming in the crystal water everyday for hours. snorkeling, kayaking.. The Food was sooooOOOooo good. Eat the free breakfasts at both hotels. Fresh Seafood, fruits, nuts ..etc. Also get refreshed during the day by ordering a whole coconut to drink & don't forget to eat the inside of it too! Get Massages - its worth it!

Excellent hotel. Too bad I could only stay 2 nights in Bangkok because this is ideal for long staying guests (it's a serviced apartment-cum-hotel so each room has a kitchen, refrigerator, washer and dryer and a huge lcd tv). Convenient location, with access to the BTS and only a 7-minute walk to the nearest mall (Emporium).

Parfaitement situe en plein coeur de Bangkok, dans une rue calme, a deux pas du Sky Train et des centres commerciaux dans le quartier vivant de Sukhumvit, cet hotel est tres agreable. Le studio que nous avions loue etait spacieux et confortable. Un personnel tres attentionne, une petite piscine, mais precieuse apres une journee d intense activite, bref, nous recommandons vivement cet hotel.

Good location, difficult to find from the main road, noisy air conditioning. Good buffet breakfast. Washing machine and microwave in the room. Nice bathroom. Before checking out add 15-20 min for staff controlling the room.
