This is the only hotel I could find near Hongik Univ. station, it is the second time I am staying...

Great Location in Hongdae
A little old but nice and clean, in a great location. Got a bus from Incheon that stops pretty much a block from hotel. No wireless internet in room. Only lobby. But wired was fast. I plan to use this hotel again.

Good location, poor hotel
Good location in Hongdae area, close to subway and tons of small shops/restaurants within walking distance. Very busy nightlife, but was not kept awake by music as other reviewers stated, mostly due to A/C fan drowning out any noise. Besides hotel lobby, facility was dirty, cramped, and dated. Bed was super stiff, both of our backs hurt all trip. Also, some mold in the bathroom. Staff was very nice though.

Pros:
I got a stay 4N, free 5N
Pros: I got a stay 4N, free 5N promo. And my 5th night was on the Xmas eve. Phew! We would have to pay much more elsewhere. Very near the lively Hongik University area. Airport Limo bus at the bus stop in centre road divider. Halal kebab store at the road behind. Cons: Rooms are outdated, carpet, bathroom, CRT TV, everything. 3rd hotel I stayed in Korea, Seokyo's lobby staff are infriendliest. Loud bass dance music on some nights at 3am from Level 6.

Fun neighborhood
This is the only hotel I could find near Hongik Univ. station, it is the second time I am staying there. The neighborhood is very young with lots of nice cafés, bars and restaurants. The room was very reasonable and fairly standard. There was noise coming from a night club nearby I think and it lasted sat. night until 5am. This wasn't a problem last time so maybe the front side of the hotel is better than the back.
