The reception staff was friendly, prompt and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is good and the breakfast was excellent. A good value for the price.

A correct hotel
This hotel is correct, nothing special but you won't find any bad surprise. Our room was big, clean and well equiped. The staff was efficient. The buffet breakfast pretty nice. It is quite close to the main railway station of Upsala. The value for money is ok. I recommend it if you travel to Upsala.

Tour the city for two days, the hotel is in perfect location for this. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast!!! The hotel is attached to pub, where we found very nice staff atmosphere and food. Overall, excellent experience. Would stay there again and recommend to others. Overall, excellent experiance. Great place for the price
We paid about $100 per night for a double-bed room and considering the prices of other hotels in the area we were very pleased. The hotel is located about 2 blocks away from the main shopping area in town and only 3 blocks from the beautiful river. The room was fairly large for Swedish standards and the bed was firm but comfy. They had free plug-in and wi-fi in our room. The free breakfast was also very nice with a large assortment of options, even vegetarian.

Sightseeing tips:
Short walk from hotel
We rented bikes from a place that was about 2 blocks away from the hotel on the main street that runs by the central train station. We road along the river, out to Gamla Uppsala, to the botanical gardens, and many other places. This was an excellent way to see Uppsala.
