Hotel ist einfach super. Es liegt sehr zentral. Das Frühstüch lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Das Hotel liegt ziemlich zentral und man kann sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Bus- und U-Bahn-Stationen sind nicht weit entfernt. Unmittelbar ums Eck beginnt eine der Einkaufsstraße von Stockholm. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, die Sitzplätze im Frühstücksraum jedoch nicht immer ausreichend. Unser Zimmer war in einem anderen Gebäude. Es lag nur wenige Minuten entfernt, aber man musste eben immer zum Frühstück ins Hotel gehen. Das Zimmer war nett und ziemlich ruhig, obwohl es direkt an einer Straße lag. Super war das freie W-Lan direkt im Zimmer (Code an der Rezeption).

The place was like a studio apartment with a kitchenette. The apartments are not linked to the main office, so you have to walk a little to get to the breakfast place. But overall a nice and comfortable place.

Hotel is very central but on the small road. This is good because no traffic noise. Hotel has been recently refurbished. Nice lobby and decent breakfast. Clean rooms and helpful staff but no clothes cabinet in the room.

The hotel room is very small and the pipe was leaking in the bathroom so the water was all over the floor, not very confortable. The location is very good, many attractions are in walking disctance.

Great clean room. The complimentary breakfast had a large tasty variety which was great. Room was a tad small, but I guess that's Europe for you. Great location, not too far away from all the sites down south. Friendly and helpful staff. Just an absolute best buy for the price.

This hotel is a very good value; breakfast is good, has CNN, has internet, easy walk from train station

My wife and I spent 4 days in July at the hotel prior to a Baltic cruise and the Clarion Bastion was our home base. As has been said, the front desk staff was stellar, the breakfast and dinner buffets were more than adequate (although I would argue that they were not as good as some have indicated) and the meal prices (free) were certainly unbeatable. We did not have occasion to make afternoon waffles/pancakes since we were out touring and seeing the sites but upon return we were always greeted by the friendly staff, cold water, and fresh fruit. Something that is not stressed enough is the location of the hotel. It is within easy walking distance of many of the most important and interesting sites in Oslo: the Oslo Opera House, the Karl Johans gate, the central train & bus station, the visitor information center, etc. Yes, there is highway construction in front of the hotel but it's only during the day and although unsightly, not a huge deterrent to staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, like all big cities, Oslo has a small population of drug users and we encountered them on a regular basis when walking along the water front and to/from the Opera House. We never felt threatened by them but maybe we should have. Although a sad commentary on society in general, I do not believe that this is a deterrent to staying at the hotel. The bottom line, a great value for money!

Hôtel très bien situé, proche de la gare et de la principale rue piétonne, dans un quartier calme. Accueil agréable du personnel aimable et souriant. Chambre petite mais tout à fait confortable et propre. Buffet du petit-déjeuner copieux et varié. Nous conseillerons cet hôtel à des amis et y retournerons lors d'un prochain séjour à Stockholm.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect. The hotel is on a quiet side street but very close to the main walking area. Everything was within walking distance.
