- At Restaurant Reisen you dine Swedish-French bistro food in a sober environment. Three things characterize the food at Reisen; personality, tradition and warmth. The warmth of the French cuisine meet the simplicity of the Swedish. As a guest here you can enjoy a bar meny or an a la carte dinner. We also recommend our wine tastings and private dinners i the wine cellar next to the pool under the cellar vaults. There we also offer spa, gym and a sauna next time you gather with friends or clients - something which can be combined with a conference in Per Brahe, for up to 20 people. We also have a unique meeting and event room in the Inner Bar, which can be used for parties, presentations or dinners for up to 80 people.

- The Bar at Reisen was nominated for the Swedish daily newspaper Dagens Nyheter's prize Gulddraken, as one of the top three bars in Stockholm, for the second year running. In the bar we have created a cocktail meny where innovative and exciting cocktails and old classics are mixed with cool music. Famous DJs work the turntables at the bar every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. The style ranges from Jazz, Soul, RnB to Pop.

Superbe hotel dans le centre historique de Stockholm
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hotel charmant dont le personnel est extrêmement sympathique. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment magnifique, un mixte de déjeuner "continental" et suédois.

Bon rapport qualité/prix
Nous avons été très bien accueilli par une personne qui a essayé de nous parler et nous comprendre en français ainsi que de nous conseiller quel bateau mouche et bus à prendre pour visiter la ville. Le petit déjeuner très copieux avec fromage français. Le service du restaurant et bar de l'hôtel est parfait. Le repas un peu léger en quantité mais bon. Le seul inconvénient, je dirais le matelas trop mou, certainement trop vieux. Hôtel que je conseille pour sa situation dans le vieux Stockholm à côté des rue principales avec shopping.

Short walk from hotel
Je conseille le fem sma us qui est un restaurant typique avec un très beau cadre, dans une cave voutée. Le service est de haute qualité, très serviable....et les plats excellents. La brasserie Le Rouge, à deux pas, a aussi un cadre enchanteur, les plats sont très bons mais demander la carte des boissons avant de commander, hors de prix, dommage, ça gâche l'ambiance.

Perfect location!
Centralized location in Old Town is perfect as a homebase for sight-seeing. Lovely breakfast buffet, helpful staff. Cozy rooms on the small size for americans, but very clean. Upgraded from an alley-view to a water-view which was beautiful & worth it for us. Street noise wasn't too bad and bar is noisy on weekends, so request 4th floor or higher. Overall, highly recommended and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

In Hotel
Dinner prices in restaurants tend to be very expensive, so LOAD up at the breakfast buffet and have a hearty lunch to keep you going throughout the day. You'll need it for all the walking anyway.

Great Location!
Loved the old city charm,a block away from the Royal Palace with a good breakfast and dinner.Also included a sauna and small pool indoors with a small exercise facility.The staff all spoke very good english and were very helpful.Highly recommend it for the price.

In the middle of everything
This hotel had a small but adequate room and free wi-fi. It was a whole block away from Gamla Stan and the Palace. Parking was a hassle but, the hotel offered an overnight parking service. Extensive breakfast as well

Great central location in Gamla Stan
GREAT service and location in Gamla Stan. it was an abnormally hot week and lack of air conditioning and noisy traffic made it difficult to stay cool at nights. The traffic noise was because i had asked for an upgrade in order to get a wonderful sea view, so the noise was self inflicted

Excellent Hotel EXCEPT no A/C
Wonderful Hotel. Wonderful Location. Excellent Rooms. Fabulously friendly Staff and good breakfast. Only problem was NO air conditioning during the hot summer months and they were having a heat wave. Room had a sauna in it! Upgrades were very inexpensive. LOVED this hotel - just wish it had been cooler weather so the lack of A/C would not have mattered.

Great Italian restaurants Really close! Hop-On/Hop-Off buses and boats were very close and convenient.

Hotel was sought after on your
Hotel was sought after on your web sight,accordingly purchased as 5-star. 1st room given to us was small,minute place to move between bottom of bed and wall, 1 easy chair,view to side of next building and dark. 2nd room better in all above respects - but the power point in the bathroom was loose and unuseable without falling apart. Reported to reception who needed to move us yet again. Much better room but cramped bathroom and insufficient wardrobe space for our needs. Two windows could not be adjusted since the restraining mechanism had no connection to the inner window part. Three of our breakfasts were held in the bar area - restaurant was being repainted. All hot items for the meal were luke warm to cold. With no doubt whatsoever NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL from our experiences. It could in no way be favourably compared with the hotel we stayed at in Barcelona and I honestly feel [this website] should not recommend First Hotel Reisen as a 5-Star hotel.
