Hotel Tapto Sweden
The room is clean and comfortable and the rates are affordable. However the staff are not particularly helpful. We returned in the evening and the hotel door was locked and the doorbell was not rousing the night attendant. We had to go around the back and find an unlocked door to get in! The breakfast is nice to have especially in a place as expensive as Sweden. The location is a little off the beaten path but the city is not large and has good public transportation

Jet-lagged
A great base for seeing Stockholm
This hotel is very convenently located for sightseeing in Stockholm. The rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. The location is quiet. The metro station is only a couple of blocks away--and just 2 stops from Central Station. Many of the city's major attractions are within walking distance--provided you have some sturdy walking shoes to do combat with the cobblestone walkways. The hotel itself is very nice, totally nonsmoking, and with very helpful staff--all of whom speak English well. The breakfast selections are numerous and delicious. There's afternoon coffee and cake, as well as an evening buffet supper included in the price of the room. The buffet is limited, but adequate--especially if you're too tired after the day's activities to go out to a restaurant.

Swede By Marriage
a great place to stay!
We were in Stockholm for ten days to attend to family business. The Clarion Tapto was a great choice due to the location which is on a main bus line and close to a subway station. Don't be fooled by the location. Stockholm is not a large as other major cities and this hotel is close to the middle of town. The food provided was great with numerous choices for breakfast and dinner. We recommend this hotel to anyone needing a nice, economical place to stay in Stockholm.

Dinner a great bonus, a useful
Dinner a great bonus, a useful considering the hotel is a couple of metro stops away from the central station. Good breakfast and helpful and friendly staff.
