Period guest house located 5 minutes on foot from the University of Oxford. Wide variety of rooms available: quadruple, triple/family, twin, double and single at budget prices. All rooms en-suite.

We have a wide variety of rooms at budget prices. All rooms are en-suite with private shower and toilet, central heating and colour TV. Full English breakfast included in the price. Private off road parking available.

All Saturday bookings should check in by 6 pm.

From London: Take M40 to green road roundabout then take directions to Headington and city centre at the end of this road called the London road you reach a small roundabout called the Plain take the second exit on the left this is Iffley Road we are 300 metres down on the left .

From the South : Take the A34 ,THEN TAKE THE EXIT FOR OXFORD, COWLEY Henley AND THE RING ROAD at the roundabout take the 3rd exit for Oxford Cowley Henley and the ring road .At the next roundabout take the first exit for Oxford city centre A4144. At the first set of traffic lights beside a public house called the Fox and Hounds turn right at the next set of traffic lights turn left this is Iffley Road we are at 137 about 300 metres down on your right .


From city centre: Take bus number 4A/B/C get off at 3rd stop James St.

The people are nice, but the place is a dump!

We were prepared for cramped spaces, having read a lot about British vs. American hotel rooms. But we were not prepared for uncleanliness and discomfort. Everything in this bed and breakfast was old, stained or dusty. The bed was probably forty years old, as we could feel the spring in the mattress. The people there were quite nice and the daily English breakfast was quite hearty if a little unhealthful (fried everything). The location is good, only about 15 minutes' walk to Oxford city center.

quant, comfortable, affordable, and easy to work with

Paid online ahead of time for two nights. Checked in late at night without problems, internet in the room was free (just had to ask for the code), and full breakfast (including hot) was included in the morning. Loved the 5 minute walk to downtown Oxford. There area few grocery stores on the way. Very convenient, would stay there again!
