Britannia Hotel Nottingham City Centre

Thin walls, can hear the noise from adjacent rooms very clearly. Tidy room but with aged furnitures and decor.

The location was great 5 minutes walk to town centre, however, the hotel was really dirty and shabby (without the chic). Im not adverse to budget hotels but this was possibly the worse hotel i've ever stayed for cleanliness. The carpets were dirty, threadbare and stained. The cups had dust and coffee stains in them. The door to our room looked like it had been forced at some point and was cracked. The walls were stained and dirty. The furniture in the room was dirty and shabby. My friends who were staying in another room had the same experience. The lifts and hallways were exactly the same. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others and for the price i was really disappointed!

Hotel room was large spacious & clean 4 pillows instead of the standard 2, bed was extremely comfortable & large. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast was included & was great, plenty of choice. great cheap price paid for two people. Good access to all areas of Nottingham & car park was at a reduced rate when validating ticket at reception. Would def use again.

Our room was a little tired but it was clean. Bed & breakfast gave us good value for money

La situación es muy buena, muy cerca del Castillo y del centro y a unos 10 minutos andando hacia la estación. El personal muy bien, incluso nos guardaron las maletas allí duarante todo el día siguiente a dejar el hotel. Lo peor la cama no muy cómoda y algo de ruido. Relación calidad precio muy bien

A lot cleaner and more pleasant than other reviews led me to believe, very satisfied with the stay. I can't say anything about the meals though since we didn't eat at the hotel at all.

Not overly impressed. The bed was not very comfortable and the whole room (although clean) looked tired and slightly mucky with stains on the carpet and sofa. It was also quite dark and not all of the lights worked, plus it was hot and the air conditioning did not work. Service was ok and location is excellent, however you find that you have to pay for parking (£9.50) for 24 hour.

Twenty years ago this would have been an excellent hotel. Unfortunately the bedrooms and facilities don't seem to have changed in those 20 years. The television was poor and the shower facilities even worse. Location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk from the City Centre and Railway Station.

The room had no chair on which to sit. There was a desk, but no chair. Also, while the room had a 'trousers press' there was no iron or ironing board available.

The hotel has a very good location to most everything you would want with in walking distance. the staff was nice enough for sure, that being said the toilet seat was broken and sliding off too the side, light bulbs burnded out,1 bar of soap in the bathroom too be shared between sink and shower,an extra unmaid bed shoved up aginst the wall heater for some reason,no room service when the in room menu said there should be. But I guess that is what you get with 2 stars.
