The Vermont Hotel Newcastle is located close to the historic castle, overlooking Tyne and Millenium Bridges. Guests are offered modern lodging and quality services on their visit to this hotel.

The Vermont Hotel Newcastle offers seven meeting rooms, which are well fitted with modern facilities. Tourist attractions in New Castle are Earl Grey's Monument, The Black Gate and Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas.

The Vermont Hotel Newcastle is situated in Newcastle, and a short walk to the main shopping centre, theatres, galleries, universities and the rail station. Guests can shop at the famous streets such as Northumberland Street, Eldon Square, Grey Street and Grainger Street.

Turn off the A1 signposted City Centre A695. Follow the City Centre A695 signs along the Scotswood Road into the City Centre one way system. Turn Right onto Westgate Road and bear Left onto Collingwood Street. At the Traffic Lights, filter Right, past the Cathedral on your left. Immediately after the Castle Keep (before the High Level Bridge) turn left into Castle Garth, the Hotel lies straight in front of you.

Fantastic location, decor is a little tired

Hotel is at an excellent location right next to good restaurants and near the center of town. The room decor and bed were a little more than I would expect for this price. The worn furniture and hallways are in need of a refresher - but overall cleanliness was good.
