Hyde Park is literally across the road from the hotel, with the West End shops and theatres just 15 minutes' walk or a short cab ride away. Close to the hotel is Kensington Palace, which was home to Diana, Princess of Wales, and the famous Gardens that give us our name.

Gutes Hotel zu einem fairen Preis
Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem sehr schönen, recht neuen und sehr sauberen Hotel. Zimmer waren ausreichend groß und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Hatten kein Frühstück gebucht. Direkt unter dem Hotel ist eine Tankstelle mit einem guten Shop in dem man sich mit allem möglichen eindecken kann (auch was zum frühstücken). Sehr zum Empfehlen!

Nous sommes arrivés à 00h 20 la réservation n'avait pas été pris en compte du fait d'un problème informatique et l'hôtel était complet. Nous avons immédiatement été installés dans un petit salon où on nous a offert des boissons chaudes 15 minutes plus tard un taxi venait nous chercher pour nous ammener gratuitement au marble arch (autre hotel de la chaine thistle) ou nous avons été reclassés dans des chambres de la gamme supérieure sans aucun supplement . Geweldig hotel met uitstekende ligging.
Hotel is onlangs gerenoveerd en ziet er erg mooi uit en heeft gelegenheid tot bagageopslag! Door omstandigheden kregen we een upgrade naar een Deluxe kamer met uitzicht over het park, echt geweldig!! Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was ook goed verzorgd. En de ligging is ook perfect: nabij Notting Hill, ongeveer 200 m vanaf metrostation Queensway. Hotel is zeker een aanrader!!!! Als we weer naar Londen gaan zullen we zeker weer voor dit hotel kiezen.

What a lovely hotel! We expected that our room would be petite in size b/c it is the European way. We had a double bed and loved our room. So modern and clean! Great tub for soaking weary walking muscles. Brilliant white linens, hot pot for tea and coffee, great view. (If you are an American who has an extra large car and thinks your bedroom needs to be as big as an apartment you are going to whine... but good luck fitting into the toilets in any restaurant, bar or public facility in this city. ) We loved this location! The shoppette located next to the hotel had little sandwiches and salads that we took to Hyde Park, across the street, for lovely little meals. Very pleasant staff- very prompt, helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here!

The hotel was located close to the tube and buss lines. Lots of great places to eat nearby. The staff was very friendly and professional. I do not have any negative comments about our expereince with this hotel. It was as close to perfect as it could be.

Location was great near Kensington Garden and close to one of the On/Off bus tour stops. Nice view of the park. Right now is not the time to stay at this hotel due to their renovation project. There is no proper concierge desk and the ground floor access is very awkward with the construction. Requested a non-smoking room with two beds, but given a very smelly smoking room when to one with two beds. The towel heater would have been a nice touch but didn't work. Mildew noted on ceiling above shower. Staff were friendly. However, they asked to see my prepaid statement both at check-in and check-out which was annoying.

Not quite as impressive as the
Not quite as impressive as the web site phot's depict but clean and presentable with an excellent view of Hyde Park. Staff helpful and provided free upgrade. The hotel is well placed for two tube stations so access to the city is very straight forward and a range of shops pubs etc within walking distance. There is some road noise but this is normal for the area. Only downside is the cost of breakfast, £15pp is about on par for other hotels but there are many alternatives within walking distance. Car parking is secure and cheaper than most at £25 per 24 hours.
