Staunton Hotel

Bra rum. Tyvärr heltäckningsmatta. Duschen svår att ställa in värmen på kranen (trög). Typisk engelsk frukost dvs ganska begränsad men ändå helt ok. Bra med vattenkokare kaffe och the på rummet. Bra med servicebox på rummet. Kylskåp på rummet med plats för egen dricka. Trevlig personal. Bra läge. Prisvärt.

This hotel is really clean with very good staff and very good bed and breakfast. I would recommend it to any one as it is in central London with all buses near to it and it is so reachable. There are also many restaurants to it and you can easily buy anything that you require when you get hungry. \i thank all the staff for all the services they have offered to us, the receptionits were so kind and very helpfuk,the kitchen staff and all the others. Next time I come over I come to Staunton and I will pass my word to my Maltese friends. Thanks and best regards Lara, Jane and Charles Buttigieg

Exzellente Lage, Frühstück lieblos und wenig schmackhaft...

The only complaint we'd have is the noise. A motor like sound kept coming for hours on end from behind a wall. We had to be moved in the middle of the night because of it. The street outside is also very busy. Keep these in mind if you're looking for a quiet hotel. The hotel doesn't have a lift. We didn't mind the climb but for some people it may be inconvenient. Location is great, walking distance to Soho. Rooms are small but that didn't matter. Good breakfast.

Bien que l'hôtel soit bien situé et dans une rue calme, cet établissement ne vaut largement pas ses 4 étoiles. Salle de bains sale, buffet du petit déjeuner peu varié avec un service déplorable, on nous a aussi vendu un tour en bus dont la moitié des arrêts n'existait plus, et j'en passe...

Location great for theatre and public transport to West End and City. Only stayed one night but would do so again for several nights.

Very pleased. Just one night at the theatre but I will be back and use for the occasional short business trips I make to London. For onger than 3 nights I do prefer an apartment though.

The staff at the Staunton was helpful and hardworking. The rooms were made immaculate everyday, and the breakfast was lovely. The location is excellent, not too far from the tube providing easy access to all of London. I had a ground level room facing the street - which is a busy street during peak times and the traffic noise was noticable, but this may not be an issue higher up or in rooms that don't front Gowar Street. However, even this would not put me off from staying here again.

Friendly service, tight but comfortable and quiet rooms,well located for theatres and restaurants.Reasonable distance to Piccadilly tube for direct access to Heathrow.

Small room with decor a bit tatty round the edges. Bed comfortable but pillows foam and not very comfortable. Lighting in room was good - not the usual dull gloom you get nowadays. Air conditioning worked well - remember to point the controller at the unit! Breakfast was good. Overall a reasonable overnight stop but wouldn't want to be in that small a room for longer.
