This is a very conveniently located,
This is a very conveniently located, reasonably priced hotel run by friendly staff. We step out to a bus stop, and Paddington station is just two minutes walk. In the midst of a snow storm in London in early Dec 2010, I found a nice warm refuge in this hotel, for which I'm grateful.

This is a hotel in decline. I
This is a hotel in decline. I have stayed there 6 times over the last few years, and on each occasion its standards, and its facilities have declined ever so slightly. Hot water is available only occasionally; the lift works "sometimes"; and whilst some of the staff are polite and helpful, others are downright surly. Next time, I'll try somewhere else.

Good location for the price
It's has a good location...very near the Paddington station where the Heathrow express stops. If you are just staying for a night, like we did, en route to paris, then the room is good for its price. I would not stay longer. It was a little cramp to think that we are already petite people in the room.

Make sure you research your hotel and its area location expecially when you are taking mass transit. We were able to tow our luggage from Paddington Station to our hotel which saved us from a cab ride.
