Very good location...but............
If you´re looking for a good/central/London location at a reasonable price, this is the choice. However do not expect a very good service.Most of the staff has English as a second language....therefore.. If you are carrying heavy pieces of luggage.....poor you...no one will care....unless you call the firemen.. The rooms are dark, and are asking desperately for a renewal....Why not add a frig.to the room ? It will be very helpful....By and large it is ok; a 7 grade will be all right.Will I stay there again ? Yes, if I would have budget limitations...

2 blocks away from Oxford St./and the nearest tube station. A 10GBP drive from Picaddily Circus.

Mama Mia!
We would not choose this hotel again.
Even though we spent little time in the room, there was no usable bed for the 3rd member of our party. We tried to pull out the sofa bed and found that we could neither open nor close it again. The staff came and could not make it work either. There was never any linen for the sofa bed, and the bed was never made up for the third member of our party. We had to call for linen every night. The staff responded, and even reimbursed us for part of the bill, but this shouldn't happen in a three star hotel.

CLOSE TO DEBENHAM'S DEPARTMENT STORE
Easy walk from Debenham's and the associated bus and underground stops. We got around easily in London with a copy of the bus routes and the hotel was very close to New Oxford Station. A good location for getting around. Hotel dining room is good for breakfast, but we ate pizza at the bar when we came in late. Bar is small, but staff is friendly. Lunch and supper are probably best taken in one of the monay restaurants and pubs.

Nice hotel, good location
We recently said at this hotel during our trip to London. It was is a nice area with in walking distance to the bus stops and underground stations. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff we met were friendly and helpful.

friendly , willing staff in a less-than-optimum facility
The staff were very willing and courteous and went out of their way to remediate difficulties. The room was small, there was no CNN, there was no on-duty technician to fix a plumbing problem late at night. Once again, the available staff went the distance to make it possible for us to have a comfortable night, and in other ways to make up for small problems.

Short walk from hotel
Nice coffee shops and small restaurants in the area ( ask the hotel staff), but many are closed on weekends. A short tube ride to theaters and nicer restaurants.
