Mon séjour

Bon séjour avec le personnel très serviable. Petit déjeuné a prendre en salle qui est plus que correcte.

Don't use the wake up call service

Last night I requested the staff to give me a wake up call at 4am, and at the same time asked them about how to take the underground train to Hethrow airport. A staff, sounded experienced, seemed to be the guy that other staffs went to for information, told me that I could take the tube from Southwark to Hethrow airport which would take about an hour. I was glad to know that and planned to take the underground tube this morning. I DID NOT GET A CALL UNTIL TEN TO FIVE AM (4:50AM), about an hour late! That same guy said "I'm sorry, I was too busy". I jumped out of bed and was down stair in 10 minutes. He then directed me to the Southwark station. I walked there, took 10 minutes, the station was not even opened at that time. They would open at a later time like around 5:30am. There was no taxi in that area, I had to walk back (another 10 minutes) to the hotel and then had no choice but to catch a taxi. By the time I was in the Taxi, it was close to 6:00am. My plane was scheduled for 7:45 internatinal flight. I should be at the airport 2 hours before the flight. The Taxi cost me 64.80 pounds compared to 4.5 pounds that I could have paid to take the underground tube, not to mention I arrived late to the airport to a long line of passengers and endured a very anxious and stressful time.

The new breakfast service offered

The new breakfast service offered was a success. Only real gripe was the TV in the room had an awful signal for most of the small number of stations on it, and although it stated there were movies that we could have ordered the service was not avaliable during our 2 nights there.
