Lovely Hotel, Great Location
My only complaint is that it doesn't have air conditioning and was stuffy. Having said that, the beds were comfy, the hotel is charming. The location is wonderful. It is one block from the British Museum, and one block from many great eateries and pubs. Also, the Russell Square station is a short walk from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast is expensive.

Not Applicable
This is a travel hint concerning traveling on the tube with luggage. Get off the tube at a handicapped station and take a cab the rest of the way to your hotel. Otherwise, you will have to pull your luggage up steep steps to get out of the tube. Luckily, some very nice people helped us carry our luggage up the stairs.

not good
staff pretend to be friendly, but feel cold. gave me a room on the top floor (lowest ceiling) and facing the street (very noisy at night)

bonjour juste vous dire que la
bonjour juste vous dire que la chambre 13 du white hall est comme plusieurs autres ,en sous sol avec en l'occurence vue sur l'extérieur et donc le trottoir de la rue et un escalier de service entre les deux .

Great place to enjoy London from
Professional staff - all very helpful. Small but nice rooms. Don't book a room on the lower ground floor unless you wish to have a view of a wall! Beautiful back garden that is perfect to relax in.

The floor in our room was really terrible - it creaked and groaned when we walked on it - and it was also so uneven that we felt we were walking in the terrain.
