Despite being a bit out of the way, it was close to main line and underground stations and was perfect for our needs and we would definitely return. Excellent value for money.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Terrific value for money. Lovely, polite, helpful staff. First rate room, comfortable bed, etc. etc. and at a very affordable price. Was particularly delighted to find I could book a smoking room. How civilised! It meant I could enjoy the facilities rather than just sleep there. Would definately visit again. And soon, I hope.

Great hotel. Wish there were restaurants around open on the weekends but otherwise lovely. Ate at the hotel restaurant - really good food!

Hatten ein Wochenend-Sonderangebot für dieses Geschäftskundenhotel, wir fanden es letztendlich aber immer noch zu teuer. Hotel erscheint auf den ersten Blick recht nobel, ist auf den 2. Blick aber gewöhnlich, jedoch sauber, ordentlich, geräumig und zweckmässig. Deshalb aus unserer Sicht 3 Sterne wert, aber das ist ja auch ok. Deutsches Fernsehprogramm nur eins: ZDF. Adapter für eigene Stecker (z.B. für Rasierer)nicht vergessen. Kaffee, Tee und Wasser wird kostenlos angeboten, das ist ein großer Pluspunkt!!! Der Service an der Rezeption ist hervorragend und zuvorkommend. Wir haben in dem Hotel weder gefrühstückt noch zu Abend gegessen, von daher keine Beurteilung möglich. Lage: im Bankenviertel, bedeutet an Wochenenden und Feiertagen ist hier nichts los, alles geschlossen. Vorteil: zum Schlafen also sehr ruhig. Mit der U-Bahn (Tube) oder dem Bus erreicht man aber alle wichtigen Ziele sehr schnell und bequem. Tipp: unbedingt alle Tickets, egal, ob für Sehenswürdigkeiten oder öffentliche Verkehrsmittel bereits in Deutschland online bestellen und zuschicken lassen, das erspart viel Stress im voraus und erspart euch lange Wartezeiten an irgendwelchen Kassen. Googelt einfach nach "Tickets London", da findet ihr verschiedene Seiten, die ihr vergleichen solltet. Das Hotel können wir generell empfehlen, nur Preis-Leistung empfanden wir als zu teuer, aber nun gut, London ist eine teure Stadt :-)

The location was great! Downtown London in the Financial District only blocks from London Bridge and the Tower of London. There were not many restaurants or pubs around the area, but it was still extremely convenient to grab a taxi and get wherever needed. The Hotel staff was no help at all. Every time we asked for a suggestion, they gave a ridiculous answer. For Example -- We asked where we could find a Starbucks and they said "Not within walking distance". When we left the hotel, literally 1 block away (less than 5mins walking) there was a Starbucks. Again we had asked for a simple pizza restaurant and they couldn't provide anything.

Great location for a stay in the City during the week and a fantastic steakhouse restaurant in the basement (Gaucho)

Comfortable, clean, internet. Good location near Monument tube. Great price on the weekend, as it's in the City.

Staff was super! The room was very comfortable and well appointed. This is the banking district and it is very quiet at night. Very convenient to Bank St and Monument tube stations. Easy walking around area. Tower of London just a short walk. Shopping and some dining close by. We will definately stay here again!

This location is in the business distrct and easy access to public transport. This means that the local streets are busy and bustling during the week and quite quiet on the weekends, except for street cleaners and garbage pick up. These can be noisy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice simple and effective rooms for business or tourist use.
