Ambassadors Hotel

I was shocked how small our room was, it was a single room with a double bed crammed into it basically. First night we arrived at this hotel, I could not believe how uncomfortably warm the room was even though the radiator was turned off. I rang reception about this and they did nothing for us, we had to wait until the next day to get 2 fans from maintainance. When I pointed out also that one of the lights over the bed was not working and was hanging off I was told that it would be fixed later that day but this never happened. Also the TV in the room was not working. The only good thing about this hotel was its location

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hotel durant trois nuit. Mis à part le bruit dans la chambre (nous étions au sous-sol), l'hôtel était correct. Cependant un fausse alarme incident a été déclenchée à 1 heure du matin, nous avons du évacuer en restant pendant 1:30 dehors au froid sans avoir de nouvelle. Nous avons ensuite pu rentré dans le hall où nous avons encore attendu 1:30. L'alarme incendie se déclenchée toute les 20 secondes. Le problème venait du système d'alarme incendit qui était défectueux. Je conçois tout à fait que le problème ne venait pas d'eux, mais durant tout ce temps nous n'avons pas eut d'eau, ni de nourriture. Nous leur avons demandé si nous pouvions avoir accès au service Internet qui à d'habitude payant, ils ne nous l'on pas fourni. Et aucune communication ne nous a été faite. Nous n'avons pas non plus eut de contrepartie pour s'excuser du dérangement (ça nous a quand même réduit la nuit de moitié) comme par exemple le déjeuner offert, etc... Même que nous le leur avons demandé.

As far as staying in the Kensington area.... this place is a gem.

Booked this hotel for my wife & daughter to stay at after seeing a west end show. They were put in a basement location that had no outside windows. It was hot and staff made loads of noise. Very dissapointed, I dont recommend this place.

Central location and excellent value. Looking forward to returning.

The hotel was in an ideal location for our stay, the room small but adequate, but vertually impossible to turn the heat down, resulting in having the windows open all night-noisy! The bed was very comfortable & the room clean, bathroom tiny but again-for a short stay adequate. Although there is reference to a bar and a dining room-we never saw either and the only meal available was a boxed breakfast, which we didn't fancy. Overall-average tourist hotel.

Room was a little larger than a shoe box. Paid internet wifi barely had enough signal. Later in the evening, internet was completely down. Staff did not offer any alternative help. We were not able to confirm our reservations with the airline. Not thinking Sunday schedule, they told us the subway service to airport would be available after 6:00AM thus leaving us stranded at the station until 7:00AM

Very nice and clean hotel. Quite a small room with lack of space to put your things. But newly renovated and quite a nice style. Cleaning of room was perfect, with clean towells every day. Nice staff. No hessitation to recommondate this hotel, and will go back to stay there anytime.

hotelkamer was elke dag netjes en schoon en bedden opgemaakt, elke dag nieuwe handdoeken, dat was allemaal goed. de dingen die in de kamer aanwezig zouden zijn waren er een aantal niet, onder ander stond er geen wekker en dat was lastig, er stond een waterkoker en een tv, waar helaas bijna geen zenders op te zien waren, of je moest appart bij betalen daarvoor. toen wij er warn zaten ze vanaf onze dag 2 in een verbouwing, waardoor het moeilijk onze kamer was te bereiken. we hadden geboekt inclusief een simpel ontbijt, maar bij het hotel aangekomen moest voor een ontbijt 7.50 euro per persoon per dag voor betaald worden. dus voor als je een hotel zoekt puur voor het slapen, is dit een goed hotel, want het is er wel netjes en schoon, maar wil je veel meer zou ik verder kijken heb dus bij beoordeling neergezet dat ik m niet zou adviseren omdat je niet precies kreeg waarvoor je betaald hebt

The room was very clean and the staff was nice. But there was always a wait to talk to one of them. They are remodling inside the lobby so it was load in the room. The location wasn't to far from the undergrounds, but it would have been nicer to be just a block or to from an enterance.
