Trivsamt,lugnt ,fräscht.Centralt och bekvämt .3minuter till tunnelbanan Liverpoolstation och centralline -mycket bra. Bussarna till flygplatsen Stansted går också precis utanför och tar 50 minuter dit. Busslinjen in till Oxford street går också precis utanför.Mat butik precis nedanför hotellet ,2 minuters gång väg. Med andra ord ett toppen bra läge och mycket fräscht hotell.

Olimme matkalla perheen kanssa (vanhemmat ja kaksi noin 20 vuotiasta tytärtä. Asuimme kahden makuuhuoneen huoneistossa 4. kerroksessa. Makuuhuoneet olivat sisäpihalle, joten nukkumisrauha oli taattu. Ikkunat eivät ole hyvin eristettyjä, joten kadun puolella jatkuva liikennevirta kyllä kuului sisään, mutta ei häirinnyt meitä. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen Liverpool Streetin aseman vieressä, useiden metroreittien varrella. Myös busseilla 8 ja 242 pääsee hyvin ostoskaduille ja nähtävyyksiin. Lähellä sijaitsee Spitafields Market, vanha kauppahalli, jossa myynnissä laadukkaita nuorten suunnittelijoiden tuotteita. Lähellä hotelllia myös hyvä take away sushi-paikka ja lukuisia muita pikaruokapaikkoja, viihtyisistä pubeista puhumattakaan. Henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä ja saimme huoneiston käyttööme jo aamulla saapuessamme vain tuomaan laukkuja hotelliin. Eikä pidä hämmentyä siitä, että majoittumisen ajaksi veloitetaan 50 puntaa takuumaksua. Sen saa lähtiessä takaisin! Ainoa miinus oli hissi, joka oli vanhanaikaisen hidas ja osittain poissa käytöstä kahtena päivänä neljästä.

As a frequent business traveler, I much prefer an apartment instead of a hotel. It allows me to relax in the Main room, cook in the kitchen and sleep in the bedroom.It is almost like being at home. I also enjoy the ability to cook for myself when I want. I have been staying at 196 Bishopsgate for a couple of years now, and am always treated well.

avevamo prenotato un executive studio, che ci è stato assegnato all'arrivo, con finestre molto grandi sul cortile interno, più tranquillo ma con vista non esaltante. Appartamento spazioso dotato di tutte le comodità: cucina attrezzata perfettamente, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, ferro da stiro e stirapantaloni. TV LCD con molti canali - solo inglesi - lettore DVD, radioregistratore e prediposizione collegamento PC. Solo il letto lasciava un pò a desiderare, era infatti un queen size (più piccolo del matrimoniale) con una spalliera che non permette l'accesso comodamente a due persone. La posizione è ottima nel centro della city, proprio di fronte alla fermata dei pullman da/per Stansted e alla stazione di Liverpool Street, da cui si può raggiungere praticamente tutta la città in poco tempo, su una strada sempre piena di gente e di localini carini aperti fino a tardi. A pochi passi supermercato Tesco e il carinissimo mercatino di Spitalfields. Soldi ben spesi e sicuramente da consigliare.

This is our second time at 196 Bishopgate. The location is wonderful, easy walking to Spittalfields and great bus and underground connections. This stay our room faced Bishopgate. It was noisy with traffic and city noise as the weekend approached. The advantage of the apartment setting easily overcomes the problems. As this was the end of our trip we did cloths washing in the unit. There is a Tesco right down the street with great precooked meals. We are in our 60's and would recommend this accomodaton.

i recently stayed in the bishopgate hotel, however i was quite dissappointed. the bathroom was really small and the rooms had a foisty smell. we had no hot water or heating until 10:30pm after waiting 2hourse for it to come on!

Appartement très agréable, personnel charmant, et bonne situation tant pour les transports que pour les courses. Parfait avec des enfants.

The first room, I get, was very cold, because heater was not working after 2 days of complain, they change me room on the 3rd night with no excuse. I asked for a compensation and they just offer me an upgrade for a futur travel, as I was not sure to comeback to that place I asked for something else and they did just give free phone for the last day. As I had my cell it was not usefull. The room quality and cleaness was good but the service when you get problem was bad...

This was the third hotel of our vacation and by far the best. I would highly recommend this apartment living as such an imporovement to hotels. We ate in most nights as there is ample food outlets in the area. The apartment came with all you would need including dishwasher with soap, cloths washer and soap, dishes, wine glasses, pots and such. Plenty of room to spread out. Only negative was outside noise 2 nighs by ended by 1am . We are in our 60s and found using the tube and buses from this hotel easy.

Exactly what i needed the place to be. Late arrival all good, and so was the sytle and layout of the room. Very handy to get around with Liverpool st being over the road and plenty of shops and amenities all within a short walk. Good for a longer stay and not wanting ahotel.
