The Holiday Inn A55 Chester West is a well-located three star hotel with a fitness facility, on-site restaurant and bar. The historic city of Chester is conveniently close with its 16th century black-and-white "Rows" architecture, impressive Chester Cathedral and excellent shopping. Take a guided tour of the city by boat, visit Chester racecourse or walk the city walls and take in the Roman amphitheatre.
General

The Holiday Inn A55 Chester West offers good amenities including a fully equipped fitness facility and 24-hour room service. It offers conference rooms, banqueting facilities, laundry services and free car parking. Complimentary newspapers are available along with coffee in the lobby to start the day.

Location

Located about 8 miles from the centre of Chester, the Holiday Inn Chester West is on the busy A55, providing easy access to the M56. Chester Zoo is within easy reach from this well located hotel, along with Chester's latest attraction, the Blue Planet Aquarium.

From the M56 follow signs for Queensferry/Conwy. Continue along towards A55 Conwy. The Holiday Inn is located on the service area approximately 500 yards past the A494 Mold slip-road travelling westbound. From Conwy follow A55 signposted Chester. Take the slip-road signposted for Buckley, then take the last exit on the roundabout signposted A55 Conwy.

Fantastic hotel, with wonderful staff!

We stayed here with our four and a half month old daughter. They provide a very extensive room service and do not charge for the tray to be brought to your room. We were able to avail of a special menu for dinner and breakfast at a cheaper rate. The food was fabulous! Very quiet room, with lovely staff who can not do enough for you!

Vacationing in Europe

After spending 5 months living in a hotel, I think my two nights stay at the Holiday Inn was top notch, especially the service! Right off the freeway which was perfect for a person experiencing driving on the left hand side of the road for the first time. I'd stay again for the locale and service.

A nice, decent place to put up

A nice, decent place to put up for the night. Clean and spacious. Right off the highway, which makes access easy. Next to an american-style diner which serves pretty good food.
