Good City Centre Location

Paid for the Executive Room option, excellent large room with big comfy bed and large bedroom. Room was at the back, some noise from Bar below but not obtrusive. Good (if a little pricey Restaurant), nice Bar that also offered a cheaper menu. Would definitely recommend, if you want to explore the City Centre. Short walk to Aquabus, a great way to get to the Bay Area.

Get Aquabus to Bay Area, a very pleasant peaceful way to reach the Bay.

Great hotel. Great location.

The hotel was wonderful! I was a tourist and the location was superb to see Cardiff Castle, National Museum, and hop on the Red Tour Bus. It's close to shopping. I didn't use the spa, so I can't comment on it. The shower/tub combo was great. The tub was wonderful for soaking. Room service was very good. When I return to Cardiff, I'll definitely stay there again.

Great place for a short stay

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very well kept and clean. There is a theater that is right next door, went and saw a fantastic show. Everything else is really in walking distance: food, shopping, sightseeing. The only thing you'd have to do is take the bus or taxi down to the Bay it's about 5 pounds from the hotel to the Bay with a taxi and a pound and a half for a bus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were super and the rooms extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great ( a large choice) and we ate two evenings in the restaurand and the food and service there was excellent also. The Hotel is about 2 minutes walk from the main shopping street in Cardiff. We will definately return!

A welcome respite

After struggling to be comfortable in many country hotels/guest houses and B&Bs it was a joy to return to room that was spacious and a shower with large amounts of hot water. Not cheap but with the Bush $, nothing in the UK is these days.
