Ayre Hotel Astoria Palace

Friendly welcoming reception. Comfortable, clean and quiet room, convenient location to sights, restaurants and shopping. Valencia is a great city to visit and the Ayres Astoria Palace is a great place to stay.

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum von Valencia, die Sehenswürdigkeiten der schönen Innenstadt sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Preis / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in diesem Hotel - ebenso ist das Personal sehr nett. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Kleinere Mängel fallen in der sehr guten Gesamtbeurteilung nicht wirklich ins Gewicht.

The Astoria Palace is perfectly located. You can't walk more than 50 yards without hitting a gorgeous structure dating back 500 years or more. The Nord Rail Station is a ten minute walk. Plaza de la Reina and the cathedral are also ten minutes away walking. One item which dissapointed me was an odor in room 604, one of two rooms we had, which would not go away. It was brought to management's attention but not resolved.

Given the price I paid, I didn't expect such a nice hotel. Spacious room with comfortable bed, and the breakfast buffet is a perfect way to start the day. Only two minor things: Although the design of the shower room reduces the need of a shower curtain, lacking one still causes some water to spread on the floor. And to use the free internet service requires a new set of id and password every hour, which is a bit troublesome.

The hotel from the outside looks great. The lobby is also real nice. The rooms however are another story. The carpet is old and should be replaced immediately. The beds are not the most comfortable.

Great location for the barrio museo and if interested the shopping facilities . The grand mercado also neraby which is well worth a look . Staff very friendly and helpful .Rooms fine without being stunning but good view of square below with bar . All in all good value for money .

The Hotel service was excellent. Free bottled water in the mini-bar was included. Breakfast buffet selection included a huge variety of dishes for €14. Only minus point was no free WLAN in the room for guests. there was only the option of computer above the lobby.

It is a very nice hotel, close to city center, a bit old, but confortable and nice. I would give it a minus to the pillows and to the fact that the double bed is made of two separte beds. I liked the fact they give water for free in the minibar.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo : ottimo Posizione strategica : a 50 metri dalla piazza principale Se la colazione fosse un pò più "assortita" e gli orari della cena un pò più elastici........ sarebbe il massimo ! Grazie Astoria ! Io comunque spero di ritornarci !

Good hotel in a very convenient location. I would have preferred tp have the option of booking B & B rather than just room only - breakfast is expensive to book and pay for locally.
