Se trata de un hotel muy bien situado y a la vez muy tranquilo con habitaciones muy grandes y con un ambiente que te deja con la boca abierta. Realmente insuperable.

Amara Plaza does not disappoint!

I have the pleasure of having stayed at Amara Plaza several times. It is an excellent hotel with staff focused on the guests.
It is a walking distance from downtown with easy access to buses. it is located in the vital neighborhood of Amara.
I highly recommended.

My Husband and I are on our Honeymoon and have been road tripping around Europe. We've stayed in a lot of different hotels and locations on this trip and we loved this hotel. The location is fantastic. The beach is just 4 or 5 blocks away and for people who live in a walking city like us, it was so easy to get to. Also the area the hotel is located in isn't loud and crazy. There are cafes and pharmacies all around to take care of any coffee or toiletry needs. The hotel itself was modern and inviting and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, even though my husband and I only speak broken spanish with bad accents we found it easy to communicate with everyone. My only caution is that unlike NY most services in San Sebation do not work on Sunday that includes the hotel laundry service and all pharmacies.

A clean and friendly hotel, but expensive breakfast and an awkward location. It is on a frequent bus route which makes getting into the centre of town easy but it would be a problem for a family trying to convey all the gear it needed to go to the beach.

Hotel muy funcional. En la zona nueva, cercano al centro (15 min andando). Con pocas instalaciones pero muy nuevo y limpio. Habitacion con materiales nuevos con gran calidad de acabados y muy buena cama.

Parking cost is way too high. If you plan on renting a car, note that the cost of parking in this hotel is expensive and not included as part of your stay.

A pesar de haber estado casi una semana dos personas, no pusieron facilidades de precio para optar por el uso de aparcamiento más derecho de desayuno para dos personas. Ya que el precio no era nada aceptable teniendo en cuenta el tiempo que ibamos a estar. El coste venía a salir: 10€ por día en aparcamiento exterior o 15€ por día en aparcamiento cubierto + 14€ por persona cada día para el buffet de desayuno. El total para cuatro días que estuvimos sería de 152€ por desayunar y aparcar durante cuatro días. No considero razonable que no se tenga en cuenta el tiempo de estancia para establecer una cuota y sobre todo siendo cliente.
Otra crítica es hacia el personal de limpieza de habitaciones que empiezan su trabajo cerca de las 8 de la mañana sin tener en cuenta que pueda haber todavía gente descansando y que las paredes de las habitaciones no aislan lo suficiente el sonido exterior.

Very nice hotel, great staff, and free wifi was a real plus! The place was a great value. The only downside is that it was a good 25 minute walk to the center of town, and would have been a serious uphill hike back to the hotel, had we decided not to cab it. A comparable hotel in the center of town would've been extremely pricey, so the value is definitely there!

As many others commented, this is a fancy, new, themed hotel. We happened to have a room with someone in the movie business that we didn't know so it wasn't that amazing to me. But the decor is tastefully done. Nice breakfast too!

The parking on arrival was a bit of a palava and rather expensive. I was not impressed with a 4 star hotel that had no evening restaurant facilities. But saying that, the hotel itself was immaculate, comfortable, good value for money and the staff were top notch.

This charming hotel is located just a few metres from the famous La Concha Beach and the beautiful promenade. This central location (romantic area) is one of the its main highlights because it places the hotel next door the main shops and restaurants. The old quarter where to enjoy the worldwide know tapas is also within walking distance. Without any doubt one of the best options to stay in San Sebastian on a reasonable budget.

It's a nice hotel, but not great, except for its location. Unfortunately, unbeknwnst to us, we booked for days that coincided with the San Sebastian Film Festival, so it was very, very pricey!

Hotel was in a beautiful location at the top of a small mountain at the point of the bay. View was fabulous, fun amusement park around the hotel and the funiclar which provided transportation up and down the mountain was lots of fun. Would highly recommend this hotel

The Wi-Fi charges are too expensive. Breakfast at 25 euros per couple was a great value with great variety of choices. Bar staff somewhat standoffish and unhelpful lacking normal customer service focus. Balcony lights did not work nor did anyone know how to fix them. CNN TV channel reception was poor the entire stay and front desk did not know what or how to report the problem.

Small family charming hotel. It is the ideal place in order to see the beautiful landscapes of San Sebastian, as well as enjoying the gastronomy of the zone. It offers 10 guestrooms, all of them exterior. They all are large, equipped with flat screen TV, DVD and full Bathroom with hydro massage shower. Nevertheless, each of them is different, having a cared and special decoration. The hotel provides library lounge and en english bar. Apart from the most modern services such as business centre, Internet corner, Wi-Fi, laundry service, 24 hours reception, there are those which make it different, such as bikes service, movie's service, press service, play station and wii service. Finally there are those more personalized, such as transfer service and barbecue in summer. Finally, the location in a residential area of the city provides the quietness necessary for relaxation. CHECK-IN FROM 2:00 PM.

Hotel más grande que los habituales de carretera. Instalaciones correctas. Lógicamente ruido en las habitaciones que dan a la carretera, no así en las traseras. No tiene aire acondicionado (importante en verano, por lo del ruido, aún mayor si se abren las ventanas). El desayuno escaso y mal servido en la cafetería. La localización no es perfecta por estar casi en "ninguna parte", pero esta cerca de Donostia y de otras localidades y playas. En contra de lo que pudiera parecer, pienso volver, ya que la relación calidad-precio es aceptable, sobre todo comparando con otros en la zona.

Das Hotel liegt an der sehr lauten und befahrenen Strasse von Hondarribia/Irun nach San Sebastian, dementsprechend laut sind die Zimmer. Für Ausflüge nach Frankreich und San Sebastian gut gelegen, grosser Carrefour + Tankstelle gleich daneben.Der einzige Sessel hatte in der Polsterung Brandlöcher und war staubig, gab ein Handtuch darauf, am nächsten Tag war es weg ohne Ersatz zu erhalten. Am Balkon geraucht, der Aschenbecher wurde nur einmal geleert - Aufenthalt 4 Tage. In der Dusche waren noch meine Haare vom Vortag und kein Duschgel im Spender. Es gibt in diesem Kostenbereich/Preis sicher ein besseres Hotel in der Umgebung zB Ibis in Irun

Completely renovated and reopened in July 2006. Situated at a short distance from Ondarreta beach, Hotel Codina has a lot to offer. This comfortable and familiar Hotel is located in the heart of the city. It is 2 km from the train station and 200 meters from the Miramar Palace. It has TV lounge, free adsl and wifi connection, dining room for groups and banquets, Basque cuisine restaurant, cafeteria, meeting room and private garage. It also has a woman*s floor where the rooms are decorated in a feminine style. San Sebastian is situated 20 kms from the French border on the coast of the Cantabric sea, surrounded by mountains and it has got three beaches by the city itself: La Concha, between the Igueldo and Urgull mountains, Ondarreta and La Zurriola. San Sebastian is world wide famous for its International Film Festival and one of its most known buildings is the Victoria Eugenia Theater, former seat of the Festival, built in 1912 by the architect Urcola of Spanish Renaissance style. Located very close to Ondarreta beach and the Palacio Miramar, this is in a quiet, residential area near Monte Igueldo. There are a bus station near the hotel ( 100 m ). Offers 82 well-equipped rooms with television, phone, internet connection, air-conditioning and bathroom.

場所はコンチャ海岸からは遠いが、近くの海岸もとても綺麗でよかったし、静かなホテルで問題なかったです。ただ、バルやレストランが集中する場所からは遠いので、車Ｏｒタクシーが必要でした。
部屋は２部屋分でとても広くて清潔だし、よかったです。ダブルベッドの部屋でしたが、ベッドも広く、家族３人（２歳児付き）で十分横になれました。
朝食は別で、子供も有料で高かったので、ホテル内のカフェで食べました。サンドイッチがおいしく、サービスも良く、お値段も手ごろなので、がっつり食べたいという人でなければ、こちらがお勧めです。

cuidado con las habitaciones cerca del ascensor, son muy ruidosas. el parking es muy caro y no se tiene una plaza fija, mueven elcoche constantemente y a nosotros nos lo han rallado.

A nice mid range hotel; excellent value and good parking. Excellent and friendly service.
While there was no bar on site, that may have been a blessing in disguise.
While a convenient walk into the town, a tough one home, but a taxi was a mere 6.50!

Es un hotel nuevo, muy limpio, y sobretodo muy tranquilo; el problema que hay es lo localizacion tan complicada, sobretodo porque la direccion es la de una plaza del interior de una manzana de edificios y los GPS no la reconocen. En general muy bien.

There isn't much to say about the negatives of this hotel other than it being an hour outside the city, but there is a metro stop a ten minute walk from the hotel so it really isn't that bad. If you want to stay out late though it can be a problem because the metro closes at 2am so you would have to leave at 1am at the latest which is when the night life starts in the city.
Room was a little small but nothing was wrong with it, very clean and very nice looking. Friendly staff.
