- Hotel is close to Palma, and accessible by road, making it possible to be in the capital in 10 minutes. The airport is 25 km away.Puerto Portals, is an internationally recognised sporting port with a beautiful beach, and is located just a few metres from the Hotel.All of which makes the Hotel an excellent place to spend a few days, whatever the reason for your trip. From the airportTake the dual carriageway to Palma. Before entering the city, take the ring-road towards Andratx. On reaching the Portals Nous exit, head towards Puerto Portals. At the roundabout follow the signs to Portals Nous, and the hotel is located some 250 m further on, next to the motorway.

Salles Hotel Marina Portals
Excellent Hotel. Highly recommended. Located 30 minutes by bus from Palma or 20 minutes by taxi.

Why 3 stars overall??
Because, even though the hotel was nice, the amenities were good (especially the spa), the rooms kind of sucked! The bed was hard, the pillows were lumpy, even after asking for new ones... the TV was a little 15inch tube TV... and the walls between rooms were too thin... Our obnoxious neighbors kept waking us up at two in the morning on several occasions :( Other then the room, things were great! Breakfast was a massive buffet with a wide variety of items to eat. Room service was prompt, and the staff was always friendly. And...!!! Don't forget the spa! It's usually included with your room, so feel free to use it! And they also offer massages. My wife and I got two while we were there... They were truly wonderful!!!

Short drive from hotel
Definitely go to the Thai Garden restaurant! it's just a short drive down the main street that the hotel is on... very delicious food :) Also a short walk across the street has a couple good bar/restaurants as well!

Hôtel charmant
l'Hôtel est bien situé, à 5 km du centre ville et à 7 km de l'aéroport. Le personnel est agréable, souriant. Le seul problème: les chambres sont petites, peu spacieuses.

Value for money
Good location near the one of the best Mallorca beaches. One of the most disappointing things was that the WIFI wasn't accessible in all rooms - so take rooms not too far from the lobby. Breakfast was good. If you are looking for good location (20 min to Palma by bus and 10 min to beach walking) and don't what to pay too much - this hotel is a good solution

good hotel been visiting for years
good hotel been visiting for years could do with a face lift, great spot, if you dont have car, to visit bars etc short walk to the port..

Satisfactory
The room was small, but adequate. It was clean enough, in a Holiday Inn sort of way. For the price, it was generally what I would expect. The staff was nice enough, but the pool was apparently BYO Towel? The photos definitely make it seem nicer than it is. It's a short bus ride away from downtown Mallorca, but not quite on the beach.
