AC Hotel Malaga Palacio by Marriott

Sehr schönes Hotel inmitten der Altstadt von Malaga.Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sensationell, leider nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Die Parkgebühren von € 23,- am Tag sind zwar etwas hoch, dafür wurde das Auto vom Personal geparkt und bei Bedarf wieder vor die Hoteltüre gebracht. Die Lage ist super, jede Menge Restaurants und Bars zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Terrasse in der 15. Etage mit dem Swimmingpool muss man bei Nacht erleben, einmaliger Ausblick über den Hafen. Wir können das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

When we checked in the clerk commented that we had an orbitz reservation. He assigned us a room and the second clerk working changed the assignment saying that we had a discounted room. The room was very small and had a view of a wall of the hotel. We had a second reservation for the next day through the hotel. We literally checked out and checked back in and were given a room with a view of the beach and the city. If you book through Orbitz expect to be treated like a fifth class customer. Hotel is ok, room allocation stinks.

Very nice hotel in great location overlooking Malaga harbour. Fabulous views from rooftop pool and bar area, overlooking the cathedral. Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed. Staff excellent - always willing to help.

Absolutely magnificent. Wonderful view from our well appointed room and incredible rooftop garden with view of the cathedral, the old city, and the harbor. The staff could not be more gracious. The location is perfect, right next to the Cathedral, the Roman ruins, the Picasso museum, and the waterfront park. Incredibly good sidewalk cafes and restaurants just out the door. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room great checkin, helpful staff

Eher unfreundliche Bedienung an der Reception und im Restaurant. Internet funktionierte nicht.

The room wasn't very clean when we arrived. Good location.

Location was excellent. Rooms functional but a bit stark for our taste. Unfortunately water went off for 10 hours one day and two of the three lifts were inoperational for one of the mornings, which resulted in a half hour wait for the lift (our room on 10th floor so very inconvenient). Staff were polite but not friendly.

The best part of the hotel is its location. The hotel staff are not a friendly lot, but I was not expecting them to be. The breakfast, for the cost of EUR 16 per head is expensive, considering the choice on the menu. But, the area around offers cheaper options so thats good. I would recommend this hotel to people who only want a room to stay in the center of Malaga. Its a happening place around the hotel.
