The hotel is located in the edge of Cuenca, but very convenient for travelers by car. McDonald's is opposite with a spacious car parking area, and a petrol station is just in front of the gate. The staff is quite helpful and the room is comfortable although it is a little small.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Cuenca, but in five minutes of easy driving you can be in the old city. Parking is free and plentiful, a special advantage in Cuenca, where, due to the character of the old city with narrow streets on steep slopes, some of the hotels do not offer any parking whatsoever.
The rooms are well designed and the decor is very modern with some subtle elegant touches. Everything is spotlesly clean. The staff speaks English and is very eager to help.
We have spent three weeks in Spain first on a tour with the Smithsonian in mostly five stars hotels and now on our own in more modest accommodations, but this hotel is the best value we have seen so far. Heartily recommended.

Located in the old town district, in the night time you would see this old district was shrouded in warm atmosphere by lamp, time was frozen in 17th century. Breathing in cold air, a myriad of stars shone in the clear dark sky above. Stepped into the old fashioned house, surprisingly found elevator to your floor and a traditional canopy bed in middle of the spacious room. The bath room was quite big. And 6.48 Euro included tax buffet breakfast for a room would be a perfect starting for a new day!

Restaurang Den typiska Cuencan-maten är god och kryddstark med utgångspunkt i regionens jakt och fiske. Utmärkta viner serveras till måltiderna. Du kan också prova på den typiska Cuencan Resoli-likören som görs av sprit, kaffe och socker. RumDet finns 62 rum på 3 våningar. Rummen på andra våningen är de största. Några av rummen har utsikt över klostret men de populäraste är de med utsikt över staden, avgrunderna och de hängande husen. Övrigt Cuenca är en riktigt originell stad som huggits ut ur en klippa. Hotellets stora fönster ser ut över de kända Casas Colgadas (Hängande Hus). De är ett ypperligt exempel på den sena gotiska stilen .

A really pleasant stay here, along with a very warm welcome. The hotel is in a quiet more rural village just outside Cuenca. Extremely clean and excellent value for money. Fully recommended.

Beskrivning
Cuenca is a truly original city hewn out of rock. The hotel's large windows overlook the famous Casas Colgadas (hanging houses) set on the rocks flanking Hoz del Huecar in implausible positions. It is a notable example of the late gothic style. 1208AB The hotel is located in the ancient San Pablo convent which was built in the 16th century. The convent was founded by the famous Canon Juan del Pozo. It is located outside Cuenca city walls, where magnificent views can be enjoyed. Located opposite to Cuenca's Suspended Houses, whose acces, like that of the old center, is the extraordinary metal bridge. The N-III is the reference road from Madrid at the turn off from Tarancon, or from Valencia through Motilla del Palancar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay , the Posada de San Jose is situated very centrally for the historic area of Cuenca, our room was delightful with lovely views over the gorge , will definitely return.

This is a very convenient hotel for those on a concious budget and not willing to have parking problmes which might be found in the city centre.10/10MP This is a cosy hotel. It is housed in traditional building looking like a family house painted in white and light yellow. This family run hotel is located about 10 kilometres away from Cuenca centre and just takes about 5 minutes by car to get to this beautiful city and its historic centre. This hotel is located in a very quiet site.

Hotel located in Cuenca s shopping area. Sited in Cuenca s shopping area, with an easy access from the city s main streets and very close to the business area, beside the famous San Julian park. It offers 74 rooms and 7 apartments distributed along a six floors building. All the rooms are fully equipped and some of them also have a small lounge. The hotel s cafeteria overlooks Cuenca s historical centre. Its four meeting rooms, along with its location in the centre, make it the perfect accommodation to organize social and corporate events. On top of it all, the restaurant is specialized in traditional Castilian cuisine.
