Tryp Barcelona Condal Mar

Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und groß. Großes Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Nur die Lage ist ein wenig ungünstig da man zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Metro, Straßenbahn, Bus) mindestens 15 min laufen muss, da das Hotel mitten in einem Industriegebiet liegt.Über den Pool auf dem Dach können wir leider nichts sagen da dieser erst ab Mai geöffnet ist :(

Hotel is quite good in all ways, just one downfall is that it is a bit too far from the city center, Although, Metro is available in a few blocks but there is nothing around the hotel to see or do. It is a good place just to rest and stay in once you are back in the hotel.

We wanted to stay in a comfortable hotel that wasn't too close to any touristy areas. It's out of the way in El Forum but it's quiet and 5 minute walk to the metro and 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff was great...they even called a doctor for me when my husband was really sick for a couple days. The doctor spoke english and they were very quick at getting him to the hotel.

Pros: fairly short walk to metro stations and beach; modern, clean room; good price Cons: questionable neighborhood, staff not strong in English, restaurants open at odd times Overall pretty good experience.

It seemed a little "strick". There was not only FREE WIRELESS but there was NO WIRELESS unless you were all the way down stairs in the lobby. There was a Cable that you could plug in your PC or you could use the net on the teeny weeny tv in the room for 9 Euro. Also the breakfast was not complementary, it cost a little over 10 Euro per person a morning and it was not as appealing as I would have liked. I barely ate anything. There were only two main courses, scrambled eggs and bacon, neither cooked to my liking. Room service was not that expensive to me which I order everyday i was there sometimes twice. It is also not in a cute part of town. But it is not too far from civilization lol. We didn't ride the train since there were so many people complaining about pick pockets. We walked pretty much everywhere and rented some electric scooters one day. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but the first beach water was really crowded and dirty. But anyway, the pool on the roof was TINY!!! and it closed at 8PM! It isn't even dark at 8. That was annoying. So it was really nice but a little old fashion i guess would be better choice of words. ALSO the cleaning ladies... these ladies will knock as they are putting the key in your door to open it. NOT COOL when this is a ROMANTIC trip with you and you husband. Front desk was very kind and very helpful and spoke great english but not the house keepers. For me with a hotel Wireless is a must even if it is not free, I traveled with an iPad. Complimentary breakfast and dinner, we spent a lot on room service. 24 hour room service, theirs had hours. And a pool that closes at a grown up time, 8pm is not even my 4 year olds bed time.

Ich fand das Hotel sehr schön, sauber und gepflegt mit toller Dachterrasse. Der Service war freundlich und die Zimmer wurden auch zuverlässig gereinigt. Die Lage ist zwar nicht mega zentral und in einer eher "finsteren" Gegend, aber ich fühlte mich nicht unsicher und passiert ist auch nichts. Mit der Metroverbindung ist man zudem schnell an den bekannten Plätzen. Etwas merkwürdig war, dass man den Badbereich nur durch eine getönte Glastüre abtrennen konnte. Alles in Allem würde ich sofort wieder dort einchecken.

This is one of the only hotels I have seen in many years that is true to its advertised pics and description. Great rooms, clean and roomy, Great views from the roof/pool. Quite and safe but I would mention that the internet is very expensive. They do not say on the info page that web access is extra charge and its very expensive.

Great Hotel not too far from Diagonal Mar Mall and The Forum

Great hotel for a great price. Very clean and good quality breakfast. Friendly and helpfull staff. Quite far from the town center but you can get there easily with bus or subway, the neighbourhood is quiet, especially at night (lot of office buildings) but we did not feel unsafe walking around there. Just 1 point of critique: the temparature of the shower is not constant and can get too hot.

The hotel is very good and the staff very helpful. It's near 2 metro stations and is also close to bus routes and the tram so getting into town is easy. Very handy for the local mall. Downside is the lack of accessible wifi which is odd for a business hotel. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. The presentation was lovely but the food that was supposed to be hot wasn't even lukewarm. Take care when working the coffee machines. Everyone seemed to struggle with them. I'd go back to this hotel.
