Tryp Barcelona Apolo

トラムを使えば便利な立地で、大型ホテルタイプであるが、清潔で居心地が良かった。

Clean and modern hotel with all the necessary ammenities. Staff was very helpful. Location was good - subway, taxi service right outside door. Walking distance to Las Ramblas. Very reasonable price.

Three blocks from village square, lots of shopping, dining options. Salvador Dalí Museum is a must see.

The hotel was spotless, had all the amenities in the room and we had a great time.

This hotel was beyond any expectations that I could have had. My concerns was that it is in a seedy area with a theater and a casino in the basement. Also, Google maps show the hotel with scaffolding all around. Well, the construction is over, and the walls are thick enough to protect from any noise. The checking was a bit slow, due to arrival of a large group of people from cancelled flights. However, the room itself was fantastic. Brand new furniture, excellent view from the window, super clean bathroom with all toiletries imaginable. Location is superb as well. It's right on the Paralel Metro station (or N6 night bus if you need it), and a 5 minute from either the port, Columbus monument, and the Rambla. We haven't eaten at the hotel, so can't comment on that. Overall, I highly recommend it, and would definitely stay there again.

La localización estupenda para moverse por Barcelona, a pie o en metro. La habitación estaba muy bien y tranquila (daba al interior); el baño un poco antiguo, pero aceptable. Desde luego, si vuelvo a Barcelona, volveré a alojarme en este hotel siempre que pueda acogerme a una buena oferta como esta vez.

Clean and modern, great location for taking off on foot. Lots of dining options nearby, as well as unique shopping.

room was so small and very expensive- when we arrived, they has specilas posted that wer 1/2 of what we paid.

We spent 3 days prior to a cruise and one day after at the Tryp Apolo. There is a metro station right outside the hotel and 2 bus stops within a block. We were able to travel all over the city. We walked 3 blocks to catch the port bus to the cruise ship. We were out at night and early morning and felt safe. I was told about people who had their pockets picked but we never felt threatened. We were however aware of our surroundings as we would be in any large city. Our first room was on the 3rd floor and yes you could hear noise[sirens,etc] from the street but it didn't bother us. The second room was on the 6th floor a bit better and a great view of the city. Another reviewer complained about the size of the room following a cruise but I found our rooms had plenty of space and a large bathroom. When we had trouble with the safe someone came up right away to fix it. I found the staff very helpful.We were able to check in early each time.When we returned to the hotel after the cruise we were about to store our luggage until we were able to check in. When we return to Barcelona I plan to stay at the Tryp Apolo again.
