Silken Concordia Hotel Barcelona

Hotel was ok for its 3 star rating. As with all European hotels, rooms are small. The room we were given, had an issue with the A/C. It was on but it only blew the fan. The room would get warm. We couldn't open the windows cause it was locked for security purposes. Luckily when I asked the front desk, they knew there was an issue with the hotel A/C and they provided me with the handle to open the window. Other then that, the hotel room had all the essentials. The hotel provided kits in the bathroom such as soap, shampoo, soap sponge, shave kit, dental kit, lotions, etc. There was free wifi in the rooms. There was plenty of channels on the flat screen tv. The hotel is located in an excellent location. Metro is across the street. Hotel is located in one of the main roads so taxi's knew easily how to get you back.

Wir können dieses Hotel wirklich nur sehr empfehlen. Die U-Bahnstation ist direkt vor der Haustür, die straßenseitigen Zimmer sind etwas laut, aber man bekommt auch ein abgewandtes Zimmer wenn eines frei ist. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück etwas überteuert, deshalb der Tipp: Frühstücken in der Bäckerei im Nachbarhaus. Das Hotel liegt ca. 1/4 Stunde zu Fuß vom Zentrum, man kann also auch laufen. Das Hotel ist kein Luxushotel, aber für Stadtereisen durchaus zu empfehlen, Zimmer und Bad sauber.

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut. Auch die Ausstattung und der Service ist für ein 3 Sterne-Hotel sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Habe es schon weiter empfohlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Barcelona Aufenhalt wieder besuchen.

Very easy to get to from airport, la Ramblas and port. Bus stop and metro outside door.

Booked this hotel due to reviews of other guests and was not disappointed. Staff were so lovely and helpful, all spoke good English. Room was good (although our room's air con didn't work and so it was quite uncomfortable at night), so had to have the window open. V close to Metro station, and reasonable walk to the Plaza Espanya, where you can get the Aerobus back to the airport. Quite a few eateries within walking distance but they were so-so....

Clean, comfortable and very close to all major sites. About 15min by metro to Las Ramblas (Poble Sec to Liceu, it's on the same line which is super convenient). The metro station is virtually across the road from the hotel. A 10min walk to Plaza Espanya which is where you'll find the airport bus. Windows in the room didn't open so the room got a little hot and stuffy and we couldn't figure out how the aircon worked, but to be fair, we didn't ask how it worked. Overall, highly recommend!

The hotel was alright, room was clean, not terribly big but not tiny either, staff were very friendly but just not a great location and beds were extremely hard. There was no way to adjust the temperature so it was really hot unless we slept with the window open. Overall I might give this hotel a miss.

Very average stay, room wasn't super clean, it's on a fairly busy street so has a little noise; but this also means you're near the cool mall that used to be a Bull Ring and the great restaurants at the harbor (both within 15 minutes walk). Also 100 meters from a Metro stop, which is nice. The bar is open fairly late for a relaxing beer or coffee and the staff is accommodating. Unless you want to stay in a hostel, you probably won't get a much better price from a hotel in Barcelona.

Everything is great. The reception staff is super. They provide a lot of useful information, where to eat, what to see. They are always ready to answer questions, with a smile too. The room is kind of small, but clean except for the carpet. The hotel needs new carpet badly. They are old, worn and has stain.

Good service and location for short visits.
