Husa Barcelona

This hotel is situated in the perfect spot. Steps away from Placa Catalunya and La Rambla but also a 20 min walk to the waterfront area. The rooms were clean, we got a nice balcony room. The only issue was we couldn't figure out if the air conditioner worked- the room got very stuffy. A little noisy outside for sleeping so we didn't leave the slider open. The staff was courteous as well. No regrets with staying here and would stay again if I found myself in Barcelona again. Thanks!

Même si ce n'est pas tout à fait un 4 étoile, l'hotel est très bien placé. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Le personnel est accueillant et vous renseigne sur toutes les questions que vous pouvez vous poser (tourisme ou logistique). Les chambres donnent sur la rue, donc un peu de bruit tard le soir. Pour limiter cette nuisance, préférez des chambres dans les étages ;)

Friendly staff, great location forget the rest! Flight of stairs to enter, hard to reach reception with luggage, tiny elevator with cracks in floor. Hard bed, no A/C, strange noises from hotel plumbing all night long, in desperate need of a major remodeling. Having stayed at several HUSA hotels in Spain, this is definitely the one I will not come back to!

Location was the best for center of town. Right next to the heart of the city. 1 and 1/2 blocks to the metro, airport bus, tours, restaurants and stores. Staff very helpful to me a single older woman traveling alone. Asked for a double bed for a single and got it for no additional cost. Room very good sized. Room was in the front of the hotel and not very noisy at all. Beds on the harder side but sleep-able.

Excellent hotel 2 minutes by foot from Placa Catalunya, Las Ramblas, the airport shuttle bus, and the gorgeous Gaudi architecture of the Eixample and Passeg de Gracia. Very comfortable room, quite spacious for a couple, and the price was quite reasonable for this fantastic location. No cafe in the hotel, but two perfect cafes for breakfast just across the street, and then a lovely Basque country Tapas bar around the corner. A winner for sure.

Stayed here before a cruise. The room was very small but quiet. This hotel is in a great location near Placa de Catalunya, within walking distance to the Aerobus, metro, great shopping, and restaurants. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner did not work well so we opened the window and enjoyed the view of the plaza.

We arrived in Barcelona on the day of a one-day general strike in Spain so were delayed in arriving, and in the chaos I lost my cell phone. The hotel staff tried very hard to help me but I was not able to place a call back to the US from the hotel room and they couldn't explain why. The hotel is very pleasant with a clean, classic appearance, with funky old-style elevators as part of the charm. There is no restaurant on site but they do serve a breakfast buffet, which is a bit overpriced unless you have a big appetite - if you're a light eater, skip it. There is a nice coffee shop right across the street, and of course lots of other dining options very close by. Very close to Placa de Catalunya, it is in a noisy neighborhood, so the wrong place if you're looking for peace and quiet. But for convenient location and price, this hotel would be hard to beat.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to all transportation system and has plenty of restaurants nearby. But the lobby is at entrance is extremely small with no display of any information for available attractions. You have to ask specific questions to get assistance in that manner. The room is large compared to other European hotels, but with shower and toilet located in different rooms, make it very inconvenient. And it is not a four star hotel by any standard, three star the most.

I found that the HUSA was in a brilliant location and one can browse the shops and walk back and relax

La chambre single réservée par internet est vraiment peu agréable et sombre avec lit dans un coin. Problème avec la climatisation qui coulait, on ma donc changer de chambre pour me mettre dans une chambre qui vait été rénovée, celle-ci était très bien MAIS il n'y avait pas de mini bar dans cette chambre, ce qui est un comble pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Il n'y a pas de bar dans l'hôtel, uniquement un distributeur à pièces !!!!
