le jour de mon arrivée à 15 heures 15, la chambre n'était pas prête et j'ai dû attendre une demie heure. Coffre-fort (avec clef !) payant - annoncé à 5 euros par jour mais en réalité 5 euros + 10 % de taxes Petit déjeuner à 17 euros Climatisation non satisfaisante Le plus : un personnel de réception attentionné Pour un prix comparable, l'hôtel GRAN VIA à Madrid était beaucoup mieux.

Cold people despite suitable location!
My time at the hotel was not pleasing, I truly felt that the staff used etiquette as a tool to keep patrons at a distance. Anytime I asked for a service I was treated very surgically as if they were bothered by my question! Further more if you asked for directions for example they would provide it to you coldly then turn around and ignore you, not taking the time to see if you understood their directions. I travel frequently and stay in many hotels, I speak various languages among them Castellano and Catalan, there is no excuse for such coldness, and general patronization from a hotel staff, never again will I stay there. Also the mini bar items and breakfast are severely overpriced! This place has only one charm and it's the location which loses its value with such horrible staff!

This hotel is not frilly, but got all the basics right, and at a great price. The desk staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Good location, just a short distance from Las Ramblas.

Basic Hotel with good customer service
The best part of the hotel is its location . Its very close to the center and walking distance to the City center and Gotic quarter. The rooms are basic and smell of smoke .

great location for the price
My wife and I booked this hotel mainly because its location and previous review and we were not disappointed. It is located very close to a subway station and all the must-see sights. I did not like the fact I had to pay to use a safe box though. WIFI works only in the lobby
