Fantastic hotel on the northern
Fantastic hotel on the northern side of Barcelona but with brilliant Metro and bus connections. Quiet area, but not deserted (we walked from a bus-stop after midnight and still saw plenty of people, so felt safe). Ideal for short breaks, close to good bakeries (for breakfast) and reasonably close to restaurants for meals or late coffees after staying in town. Would stay here any time and wholeheartedly recommend to others.

Good hotel but needs some TLC
PLUSES: Great location. 1-2 minutes walk from line 7 of the metro. Clean comfortable bedding. Free internet. English speaking friendly young man at check in. MINUSES: The shower temperature control was the worst I have ever seen anywhere. Could not keep a comfortable water temperature during the shower and it fluctuated between very cold to very hot within seconds. . Some bleach is needed for cleaning the shower since mold was clearly visible everywhere. Needs TLC. Managemnt needs to contract a handy man to go room by room and fix the un-sightly broken items. In our room # 107, one tile was totally missing and the bathroom vanity had pieces of wood missing. For not much money they could add another star to the hotel.

Short walk from hotel
Avoid the nearby restaurant "El Teu Kebak" on Ronda Del General Mitre. Got cash stolen frem me by staff.

A nice hotel with modern rooms
A nice hotel with modern rooms and good facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. The main downside to this hotel is the location. It is outside of central Barcelona, and we needed to catch the Metro everywhere. The closest Metro stop is approx 15mins walk away. The hotel itself was very nice, and had the location been better we would have been very pleased. Nevertheless, we would return if in Barcelona again.
