Dailyflats Apartments - Modern Ramblas

Fetching keys from some hundreds of meters distance and entering the staircase through some group of 'Punk band fan club members' was not a too pleasant first impact but of course that was part of the Barcelona experience. Our 'attico' was a nice surprice at first glance. Clean and modern. Owen, dishwasher, washing maschine, microwave, TV with Barca TV channel(!).. Really wide top floor private terrace was awesome - but why no chairs there..? Views from the terrace were perhaps also somewhat 'rustic'/'romantic'. Sleeping was not easy because there was no sound isolation at all and all sounds from the ground floor up to the attico were loud and clear. Good thing was that there was no traffic in that alley although located in the heart of the city. Please - try to avoid that metallic sofabed.. And as they kindly told us: 'remember to carry out your own carbage, wash your own dishes and don't have a party'. Yes - it was a good place to visit, close to Ramblas, nice & clean but some improvement would perhaps make a difference..

Our family was satisfied especially to the service in the office. The apartment was first a little bit cold but it got warmer in couple of days.

Cet appartement a été au delà de mes attentes, tout équipé, bien situé, (à 2 pas de la Ramblas) moderne, calme... Le seul petit point négatif ce sont les fenêtres car l'air passe à travers et on entend le moindre bruit depuis la rue. (Négatif car j'y ai passé mon séjour avec mon bébé de 15 mois donc courant d'air pas terrible et bruit principalement jusqu'à 22h, heure à laquelle les magasins ferment.) Mais si c'était à refaire, je choisirais à nouveau le Modern Ramblas. A l'arrivée, un check-in assistant vient à l'appartement nous donner la carte (clé) ainsi que nous expliquer toutes les modalités...très professionnels. Je recommande ce lieu où séjourner à Barcelone, sans aucun doute !

Superbe appartement très bien situé très propre le seul problème c'est que l'endroit ou aller Chercher les clés n'a jamais été stipulé

There weren't enough bed linen for four persons so we phoned at the service desk. They didnfitting us the linens the same night, so we had to sleep on the matrat the first night, discusting! Even the next day, they didnt give us some bed linens. We had to go to the extern Office, there was a very unfriendly women. The service at place is sad, if you miss something nobody feels responsible to help. When you arrive you have nobody at place, you need to search where to go for the keys. The office is a 10 minutes footwalk away...

Extended stay location on quiet side street has all the external charm of Old Barcelona and the inside conveniences of the 21st Century. Beautifully furnished and appointed, with high ceilings, the spacious apartment is best for three rather than four occupants unless very little time is spent inside. Second bedroom is truly a single bed and very small room. The pullout sofa however is comfortable. The pick-up of the key several blocks away is a bit inconvenient - even during standard business hours - though is does offer the opportunity to see more of the City upon arrival.
