- El Borne is a multifaceted neighbourhood on one hand it offers very powerful cultural buildings such as the Picasso Museum, the Church of Santa Maria del Mar, among others. - It couldn't be anything else attractive, seductive, fresh and very trendy. It is white that dominates the area. A spectacular bar with small mirrors adds sophistication to this white and neutral area. Large curtains suspended from the roof harness the colour from the LEDs. Light once again is the protagonist that bathes the night with colour livened up by Toni Rox, the resident DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. Simple Mediterranean / fusion style cuisine is on offer. Don't miss the great variety of cocktails and mixed drinks from the White Bar made up on the spot.

Nice Experience
It was located in a nice area with cafes and shops just a few feet away. The rooms were clean and tidy and very modern looking. Our room had a balcony which was nice to look out onto the street below. The staff was very nice and helpful and bilingual.

très appréciable le "coin bar"
très appréciable le "coin bar" avec café, thé et eau minérale en libre service. avons été surclassé. pas de produits salle de bain excepté petit savon et gel douche. pas de double vitrage donc très bruyant côté rue.

We LOVED it!!!!! Perfect for couples.
The Chic & Basic Born in Barcelona was fabulous. A great location in the Gothic district and close to so many stores, restaurants, etc. The staff was very friendly, and we loved the "Help Yourself" amenity. We will definitely be staying again. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in Europe. Perfect for a couple looking for a little fun.

El hotel es estupendo y la atención
El hotel es estupendo y la atención muy buena. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y con mucha luz natural. En general estaba todo limpio pero creo que va siendo hora de limpiar los puntos más inaccesibles como sobre los cortineros. No quedaba muy bien esta zona reflejada en los espejos... Aún así muy recomendable.

Rooms are small but functional,
Rooms are small but functional, and anyway, the excellent location in the most interesting area of the old city means you won't do anything but sleep there.

Hotel was clean,and in a safe area, we were able to communicate with staff.... selling point with hotel is their high tech TV/computer set up with internet connection... ours didn't work... we came in on a Sat. morning and they couldn't get someone out there to fix the problem til monday afternoon.. we checked out the next morning... the TV/computer controls the tv, music,internet, computer,.... with out it , the room was just plain small and very quiet! Up side, they have coffee and internet in lounge... few chairs nothing more.. they also had a small gym!

Short walk from hotel
In Barcelona cafes close around 2-3pm and reopen around 8pm! Once we figured this out it was fun! Everyone is out at night! Families, lovers,and friends..... This was the highlite of the area!
