Chambre 114 calme. Pas tres luxueux mais correct. Réception efficace et agréable.

I had traveled to Barcelona by myself, (and greatly recommend solo-tripping). On booking this I had read the reviews and heard of all the unexcellent service, and I am saying, not so! The only thing that I am dissapointed about is that I had spent all my euros by the end of my trip (using credit cards) and was unable to tip the desk man who stayed while I walked around every night and let me back, who also called my taxi and helped me with a smooth and quick checkout. The shower head was broken and sprayed water out the left side and slightly affected the pressure. One time room service called me asking if I was the room that had ordered the pizza. That was comical :) I had a great stay, its location is amazing. Next to the Arc de Triomf which makes travel and finding 'home' very easy, very close to the plaza de cataluna, extremely close to some awesome parks, don't expect amazing butler service, but they will go beyond just helping you. Plus Barcelonans are just nice people too 3 stars for the shape of the place 4 stars for the service 4 stars for the location

Posizione centrale, vicino metro ma tranquilla. Il quartiere è caratteristico vicino ad una gradevole piazzetta. Albergo pulito, personale gentile, unico problema ma che riguarda Barcellona in genere è il costo, che non comprende neanche la colazione eventualmente il costo è 15 euro. WiFi Gratis basta chiedere la pasword alla reception. Comunque da consigliare a chi desidera dormire senza schiamazzi e per intravedere la vita reale dei Barcellonesi, in zona ci sono molti negozietti, minimarket panifici ecc. in paratica negozi non per turisti i cui costi sono davvero contenuti, rispetto alla zona Ramblas che comunque dista solo pochi minuti a piedi (meno di 10).

Close to the Franca Estacio railway station . Friendly staff. Charge extra for a safe in your room. The room had a bar fridge. A fifteen minute to twenty walk to the Rumbla area. Closest eating was about a 10 minute walk. Located in an old area of Barcelona, so streets are narrow. Over all fairly good value for your money.

A very good hotel with helpful reception staff. Only about 15minutes walk from La Rambla. Some nice little local bars/cafe style places in the hotel area---and only 1.50 euro for a bottle of beer in these places. A pint of Guinness in the pubs at La Rambla is over 5 euros---although that did not stop me ?. Would I go back to Catalonia Prncesa-----a resounding YES !

It would be great if you could have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Apart from this we were very happy with our stay and would reccomend the hotel to others.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Barcelone (Quartier Ribera). Accueil étonnamment peu chaleureux. Chambres mal isolées au niveau des portes d'entrée, effet accru pour celles face à l'ascenseur (toutes les ouvertures/fermetures entendues) Literies médiocres (valable sur les 2 chambres testées en parallèle) Ménage salles de bain correct, sous les lits à revoir, parties communes OK. Bon fonctionnement de la climatisation. Tarif de base excessif par rapport à la qualité du service. Penser à ajouter les frais de parkings au prix de l'hôtel (40 € / 24 h au plus près) Mais le tarif dégriffé de dernière minute reste cependant intéressant !!! Je reviendrais dans les mêmes conditions.

I would book to go here again. It is located in the historical part of Barcelona about 10 minutes from La Rambla and about 20 minutes walk from the port. A Metro is about 5 minutes walk away. The staff are pleasant and the rooms are very good indeed.
