- Alexandra Hotel Barcelona is launching Genovese cuisine in Barcelona. The new Italian restaurant from the region of Liguria is called da Luca Ristorante. Tradition and product excellence define this authentic Italian restaurant located in an enticing architectural setting full of design and comfort. Da Luca is known for its already famous specialties. Its highlights are lukewarm seafood salad with lemon and oil; risotto with seafood or parmesan cheese and mushrooms; sea bass Carpaccio with a fresh salad, lemon oil and red peppercorns; fried squid and anchovies with crispy courgette, apple fritters and apricot marmalade tart. And, its famous tiramisu, of course, which has a vertical shape. And you can accompany the Genovese culinary experience with some delicious Italian wines.

Decent family getaway
Location is very good, rooms clean and good staff. Noisy rooms ( both from inside and outside) and a little less sophisticated room furniture than you would have expected from internet images.

we had great experience. staff were very friendly and helpful giving us directions to the metro and to tennis tournament etc. We spent 2 nights and had dinner which was very good. Hotel very clean and comfortable and had English TV...CNN and BBCwill stay here again[...]

First time out of the Country
Great Value
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was neat and spacious. Very comfortable bed. The hotel was just a short walk to all the major shopping locations like Gucci, Channel and Burberry. Also, a short walk to major art musuems, Gaudi is just 3 blocks away. I had the best time in Barcelona because of my stay in this hotel.

Short walk from hotel
Come out the hotel and make a left, walk to the end of the block and there you are. All the major stores to shop at to the right or left. It was like walking the Magnificent Mile in Spain!

Hôtel confortable, bien situé
Hôtel confortable, bien situé dans le quartier de l'Exiample. Pas loin du métro. On y parle Français. Petit déjeuner très copieux mais cher. A éviter. Aller dans les nombreux petits établissements aux alentours beaucoup moins chers et typiquement catalan. Ne pas oublier: à 40 mètres l'un des meilleurs tapas de Barcelone, en étant très patient aux heures de pointe.
