Each floor has been assigned a particular shade and the rooms on each floor have been decorated in accordance to the floor on which they have been located. The rooms vary slightly in size and style but on average are medium sized. They are in fair to good condition as are the bathrooms.

Convenient location, great rooms.
This hotel is directly across from the Basel train station. We got to the hotel at 11am and were just hoping to drop off our luggage and hit the town, but we were able to check in! Nice hard wood floors, comfortable bed and great spacious bathroom. Looks brand new. The trams are outside the hotel, but we just walked down the mainstreet and headed to all the sites. I will definately stay here again the next time I'm in Basel.

Eigentlich sehr gutes Hotel, die
Eigentlich sehr gutes Hotel, die Parkgebühr von 25.-- und das Frühstück für 50.-- (2 Personen) haben es am Schluss doch ziemlich teuer gemacht.

Very nice and clean (really clean!)
Very nice and clean (really clean!) hotel, situated right next to Basel SBB railyway station (location was my main objective in hotel-choice). Several restaurants and fast-foods nearby (as well as loads of shops at the railway station), Basel old city center, kunstmuseum and zoo easily reachable by foot (5-10 min. walk) or by tram or bus (or taxi). Friendly staff, a quick check-out, and because of the heath a personal airconditioner.

鉄道移動だったので，駅前広場に面した立地と，トラムの複数の路
鉄道移動だったので，駅前広場に面した立地と，トラムの複数の路線の駅が目の前で，観光に便利。 交通機関の無料カードをくれました。ロビーにウェルカムドリンク（ブドウジュース）があり，美味しかったです。 ４階の部屋に泊まりましたが，夜遅くまで，トラムの路面がきしる音が聞こえていて，その点ではマイナスでした。

Though expensive (catering for
Though expensive (catering for the business traveller), the hotel was exactly placed for what we wanted, a place to stay overnight while on a train trip from the UK to Austria through the Alps, as it was across the road from the main railway station. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was of a high standard.

Convenient, clean hotel
The Hotel Victoria is very clean and modern. The bathroom was spotless, newly renovated, and had light but absorbent towels. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The tv was very small, but functional. There is not much of a "fitness room." For the price, this was excellent value. If you want a place that is close to trams, trains, and buses, and yet is fairly quiet and comfortable, this is a good hotel.
