Sofitel Lisboa

This was a nice hotel that was undergoing some renovations, so minus the renovations my only comment is that the check in process seemed very unorganized. Some guests were able to check in right away while others were told they would need to wait hours. The lobby is very small, so this obviously caused some issues.

Spent a week at the Sofitel. Staff was always courteous and helpful. Room was lovely - clean, comfortable and the nicest bed ever- like sleeping on a cloud. Fresh flowers always in the room, Baci chocolate at night next to your bed, and a special snack sent up to your room when you arrive. Great coffee shop right next door (not part of the hotel) where you can get a lovely continental breakfast, reasonably priced, from nice folks. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel bathroom had issues. Tile was falling from the tub because the shower spewed water all over in puddles on the floor when I took showers. Otherwise, the emenities were great. The bed was soft, but we all have our tastes. I wish that they would include appletinis at the bar.

Overall; I would use this again. I would have given this a "perfect review" except that there was a problem with the television. I got a quick response but the attempt to rectify the problem took over 2 hours with the service staff in and out of the room. I had just arrived and needed sleep. I would have preferred that a different room be offered to me rather than compromise my initial comfort. I did not however; express this to the staff so I have to cut them some slack on this. But,,they need to remember this with other guests in the future. Otherwise,,,,had great time and would stay again.

The location was great-right on Ave de Liberdad which loks like the Champs Elysee- broad and tree lined. Its the upscale part of town with Gucci , E. Zegna, Hugo Boss, etc. One bus ride or metro to the guide buses which I woul recommend. There are several terrific local resturant liike Solar de Presuntos. Hotel staff very helpful- had nigtly drinks right there.

They claimed their reservation system failed prior to our arival and they over booked. They gave us a drink and sent us to a Sheraton which was less convenient but otherwise very nice.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and our room was great. The balcony was very large and a couple of the nights we enjoyed wine and cheese on the terrace. The hotel was modern and was very clean. The bathroom was very nice as well and spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location of this hotel was good as well, it was easy to catch a tourist bus and the walk down to the center of town was very short about 5-10 mins. Also it was close to the Barrio Alto which is an area with small st and lots of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is in quiet and safe area. I would easily stay at this hotel again.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The Sofitel is located right across the street from the underground Metro. You can get anywhere in the region quickly and inexpensively. If you need a taxi it will be their when you schedule with the front desk. You want a wake up call they will call exactly on the time you request. I have traveled all over the world and the staff here is top notch. Thats why have I given this a five star rating. They handled every request quickly and professionally. They speak multiple lanquages and their recommendations were all great ! This is a beautiful hotel that is well appointed. Enjoy !

取消不可能な事前予約で、かなりお安い価格で泊まりましたが、中心部も徒歩圏内、エアポートバスのバス停もすぐ近く、メトロの駅も目の前、ホテルのスタッフすべての方の対応も良く、おまけにふかふかのベッド！4つ星なのに自分で荷物を持って部屋に行ける気軽さもあって大満足でした。朝食は別料金で高いので取りませんでしたが、アラカルトでの選択もできるようでした。リスボンに行く機会があり、お得な価格設定があれば、またぜひ利用したいホテルです。

This hotel is on the main street in Lisbon and within walking distance to many of the main sights. Great hotel overall--the view from the balacony in our room was the only complaint.
