Great week and great staff always would never stay anywhere else.

This is the perfect little boutique resort. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast buffet is really nice. The location and views are killer!! I chose this location based on the snorkeling reviews and they were right on! My husband and I never had a problem finding chairs under palapas which is also extremely important! The fresh fish dishes are delicious! The hotel is only five minutes from town by taxi which is also a bonus. Lots of good restaurants to eat at!

Wonderful trip. A great 3 star hotel......small but nice beach. Great views from all rooms! Staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Felix and Luis. Breakfast is included and is wonderful. There is something for everyone. Can't wait to visit again.

This was our first time to Playa Azul and it was a wonderful experience.My wife and I like our vacations a little more quiet and peaceful than the all inclusive types.The location, North and away from San Miguel makes you feel like you're definitely on vacation.The waters are Excellent for snorkeling and scuba.We are not golfers and did not take advantage of the package deal.Information gathered from some guests made it sound like a nice course.We also did not try out the spa.Can't give you any info on that either.I can tell you that the hotel is an older unit that is superbly maintained and the staff goes out of its way to make sure you are well taken care of.The beaches are small but beautiful.The included breakfest buffet is absolutely great and a must every morning.All rooms face the sea.What a spectacular view it is.The on site restaurants have reasonbly priced good food.I'm not a huge fan of mex food.You can see that this island and its people are still trying to recover from the hurricane damage many years ago.They are definitely going out of thier way to make vacationers feel comfortable and welcome.One more thing,cash in yor larger bills,these people live for tips.It's not a big deal to grease the hand that feeds,drives,cleans up after you.Believe me, they're not making much wage.Othe than that,prepare to enjoy yourslves,weather permitting.

We spent a night at Playa Azul to meet up with friends that were staying there so we could play a round of golf at the Cozumel Country Club. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff went out of their way to accomodate our every need. The food was outstanding. The location was perfect for us, only 2 minutes from the golf course. We would recommend this hotel for sure.

All of the staff were so friendly and would do anything for us. Love the small quiet hotel. Great food. Enjoyed the head,neck,shoulder massage at the spa. Golf was fun. Lots of iguanas and crocs to see. Weather was a great break from the cold and snow.

The staff at the Playa Azul are the best. Food at the hotel was great. Great swimming area and nice pool. Golf right down the street and it was part of the package we also did the all inclusive package food and beverage included. We love this area of the beach in Cozumel. We did go in town on Sunday evening to the square for music and dancing with the locals it was very nice. We ate at Casa Denis right in town the food is great. Another great place is La Terraza great pasta seafood and pizza. Our trip was compleat with the visit to the other side of the island.

Small hotel with a staff that never changes. Some have been there 15 years or more. They remember your name and room number and are always smilling. The food is wonderful, buffet for breakfast - diverse,hot with lots of local flair. Lunch and dinner are off a menu, with tons of choices. Pool area and beach area for sunning. Palappas on the beach for shade. Not like the large hotels with music blaring and someone over the PA trying to get you to join the water volleyball or yoga or limbo contests, just quiet. Perfect for reading or conversation. Location (north) is better than the southern hotels. Walking distance to the golf course, $7 cab ride to downtown as opposed to $20 from the south (one way).
