Park Royal Cozumel - All Inclusive

Everything about the Park Royal was excellent; however, the buffet did get a bit tiring.

We had the most wonderful time at the Park Royal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. he Hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff did an amazing job at keeping everything clean. The food was amazing and the on site Restaurant was great. Over all we had a great time on our trip and would stay at the Park Royal again it was well worth the money.

We enjoyed our stay herel I was with 2 other girlfriends. The air conditioning never got cool enough to suit us,,,we even had the hotel staff come and look at the thermostat. The buffet food was very average, with the same exact things everyday. The Mexicana restaurant was always full for reservations, so we could never get in. The Italian restaurant was very good. Service exceptional. There is only a tiny beach on the property and the cruise ships blocked our view of the ocean for the majority of our stay. If I went again, I would probably stay somewhere else..also there was NO nightlife while we were there. Carlos and Charlies, Tiki Tok and Senor Frogs seemed to be the only options we could find. Everything there is driven by when the cruise ships are pulled in-the shops all close when the ships leave..Cheap price, but think we got what we paid for. Overalll a fun trip!

The hotel is very clean and modern, food and service is excellent. We will absolutely be back.

OMG.! Absolutely amazing. Total worry free vacation. Superior staff always available to answer any and all questions. Never wanted for anything. Aesthetics of resort grounds were complete paradise. Looking forward to returning again in Oct/Nov.

We stayed here a year ago and had such a good time we came back this yr. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing that could have been better is that we WI-Fi is a little slow but that's probably because i'm used to what we have in the states. The dive operation across the street is one of the best on the island, very professional. Hard to beat this place for the money.

Park Royal staff were all awesome. The food was about average for all inclusive resorts of the same level. The room was comfortable, but lacked refrig that would have been nice to keep some bottled water / drinks in. The beds are very firm... but sleepable. We had a great time and plan to return to the Park Royal in the future.

We enjoyed staying here. Was a beautiful property and felt like you were in a lush jungle! Other than seeing all the cruise ships they were not a factor. Would have liked less restrictions on dining.

Just returned from an unforgettable 10 day vacation in Cozumel. I, like many others, was very hesitant to book the Park Royal. We are a family of 4, with two boys, 8 and 10. In the past (just adults) we have stayed several times at the RIU Palace all-inclusive hotels in Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, so we do enjoy our luxurious hotel vacations. Well, there is no RIU in Cozumel... so we decided to try the Park Royal. We booked an ocean view room, and got just that, a breathtaking view of the Caribbean from the 9th floor. The resort is immaculate, there are polite employees constantly cleaning and picking up around you... Rooms are clean and bright. New marble floors and bathrooms. However - room with two beds means two FULL size beds, not queen. No fridge in room, and no food or drinks allowed in rooms either. That was a big star off from us... Come on, we're Americans, we like a piece of cheesecake at midnight and a cold Corona on the balcony after our siesta...:-# Staff was very polite everywhere - lobby, bars, pools, restaurants. Yes, we also arrived early #11AM# but the hotel offers a room to store luggage and you can start your vacation as soon as you change into your bathing suit in the nearby powder room. Restaurant, snack bars, pool, beach, bars are all available for you to use immediately. The beach is small, but never crowded. In fact, we were there during spring break so I know this is "busy" season. SNORKELING IS FANTASTIC! We snorkeled there every day and saw dozens of different types of fish and manta rays, and other beautiful sea creatures. There is no need to travel to other island beaches for the snorkeling experience. We went to Chankanaab park nearby and snorkeled there as well - it's amazing, also saw the sea lions there, and swam with the manatees. Highly recommend those activities as well. We rented a small Chevy Chevy :-) and drove around the island exploring all shoreline. Great times. If you have time, visit the Mayan ruins in San Gervasio #sp?#. To summarize, this hotel was a great choice for a good family vacation. I would have given it 5 stars, but: the lack of fridge, the small beds, pay-for-safe, and a few other little things bothered us. There are only a few places to sit and relax in the evenings. There is no ice cream - boo. The wi-fi is very spotty at best and is very expensive. Granted, that really helped the four of us to actually spend some quality family time, connect, do more talking, discussing, and vacationing, instead of video gaming, tweeting and Facebook using... Well played, Park Royal. Thanks for an amazing vacation amigos. :-)

The front desk needs better service but the rest of the staff was GREAT! Location and hotel was great for the price. DISLIKED I had to pay $5 to use gym, hot tub and steam room, and had to pay $15 for wifi and other hotels gave this for FREE!
