Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel Beijing

Two night stay to do some siteseeing. First time to Beijing. Very convenient to the Subway! Wifi only in the Lobby, but works well and is free. Also "exchange" for money is available in the lobby. Use the consierge for "tours to Great Wall." More private and excellent value.

This place was perfect, we are not ones for staying with the rest of the tourist. And this was the place. It was very quiet and very clean. We read that a lot of places had hard beds, but this hotel had very soft beds. The room was cleaned every day and they gave us water bottles every morning. We also read that a lot of places in Beijing did not have staff that spoke English, but at the Howard Johnson Paragon, they all spoke english, well enough to help. The piano bar was very nice and there is a mall attached to the hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel, but they do serve american for if requested. There is also a super market in the mall, so you can get any food you need. All in all, next time we are in beijing, we plan to stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have no problem in recommending it. The location is ideal for business or pleasure.

the hotel overall is a good deal, but the tiles in my bathroom are not that clean. i can see mold.... The location is amazing good. So i'll still recommend this hotel for who is the first time to Beijing. Near starbuscks (very important!!), two different subway stations.

Front desk could not understand English. On our own to get a taxi after asking front desk, if one would stop. Requested a twin bed room. Could not provide, but did add a rollaway bed. Not fair to my son who is 41 and traveling with me at age 69. /Bathroom mold in shower, housekeeping did not clean well.

I had one very bad experience with online booking in China. Before I get this hotel, I told myself that do not take it as good hotel. When I checked in, I feel better. When I get into room, I feel save and clean. It is very connivence too. Even at midnight, I still feel safe to go out get water and food.

Great location across from train station and attached to a mall. Really great breakfest buffet. Would stay here again

For being a Howard Johnson is quite dirty. Too chinese. The staff was impolite, although i can speak chinese. Like many hotels in china they have a "trust" problem that at some point is annoying. Anyway the location is good, close to the metro, and Beijing Train Station.

Worth it's 4 stars, good value, Best location if you need to use Beijing station.

北京駅の近くで近くにスーパーもあり、立地はとても良いです。 ただ駅前のため早朝から外が騒がしく、いつも朝６時には音で目が覚めてしまいました。 レセプションは英語が通じました。 値段の割には全体的に清潔感もあり、ホテル自体はよかったです。 欲を言えば、無線LANが使えたらもっとよかったのですが。
