- La Casa Di Amy can be found in the center of the city, in the Esquilino quarters, one of the seven hills were ancient Rome was found. In walking distance one can find, Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, The Coliseum, Circus Maximus, and The Roman Forum, all 10 min from B&B. The property is on Via Principe Amadeo, 85 almost at the head of Piazza Manfredo Fanti, the piazza of the glorious Roman aquarium, where interesting architecture from the beginning of the 19th century, serves to attract international cultures.

The Reception is professional but one of the staff servicing has little concept that some times the customer can also be right.The TV did not work and there was no uniform reason between the staff. The alarm clock did not work and it was attributed to ignorance of the customer. The shower area was impossibly small even for average size, the fittings fiddly. The breakfast was fairly decent. Unlikely to use it again for its price/facilty equation.

Convenient Location, Very Basic Hotel
The hotel was very close to the train station, which was convenient for us. It was, however, a bit of a trek to major tourist sites and restaurant areas. Some tour books describe the location as seedy, but we found it to be perfectly fine even at night. The hotel room was very basic, especially the bathroom, and the breakfast was quite awkward because they seat all hotel guests at one table together. Great/free wi-fi in rooms.

This small hotel provided everything
This small hotel provided everything we needed for a 4 day break in Rome. Close to the terminus (bus, tram, train and tube) it was easy to get anywhere. Reception was just to the right of the hotel entrance Entry to the hotel was through a locked gate and to each of the individual clusters of rooms through another locked door. The room had a fridge and coffee making facilities. There was a small television (but no English channels). The most important item, especially during the summer months, was an individually controlled air conditioning unit. The bed was comfortable being a Queen made up of two singles. The clothes storage was plentiful for our needs. The bath room had a shower (which worked well) but no bath, a bidet and toilet and an unusually well lit mirror. Breakfast was continental buffet and was sufficiently varied to suit most people. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. By Rome standards, a very good place to stay. We shall return.

I stayed in an annex, which was fine for facilities and only 100m from the main hotel: but I missed having general facilities around, a lobby-like place to lounge about and relax. The room was a room, just that, and unless you were asleep there was nowhere to go but out.

Cute B&B with very friendly service
The location is great 5 min from Termini. The rooms and bathrooms are small but what you can exspect for the price. The location is somewhat noisy.
